Prologue:
They met in elementary school. Nikki and Ruthie... Nithie. When middle school came around they started to form a group at school. The Squid Squad. They got that name from an anime that they all watched. All 7 of them were inseparable. Then one of them in seventh grade added me into the group. That's where I make an addition to this. They are all so sweet and welcoming. Not really the sweet part because some of them scare me, but I love them. Also in seventh grade, Ruthie dated one of the members of our group while Nikki was dating another person from our group. After their breakups I thought it'd be awkward but we still all get along greatly.
Then we were eight graders.
Top of the schools food chain. That's when they got together. I even remember a teacher yelling at them for holding hands, passing notes, playing with each other's hair... They were so adorable. They still are.
Now we're in twelfth grade. Again at the top of the school, yet this time, there won't be another chance to be even higher up. It's a make it or break it year. While we're still all friends, some of us went off to do other things already. I'll break it down to the information you need to know about us.
Emily went on to be a writer. After years of us giving her ideas of stories that she made extremely epic, she found a school three hours away that focused on her soon to be writing career. She's still the shortest little bean of us all. She continued on with her music talent and performs every Friday night at a bar. She usually turns her dark and creepy stories into music for the crowd. While they think she's really good, she's deadly. She still wears black converse, low ones of course. Usually rocking dark blue jeans with a band t-shirt and hoodie. Her glasses still look cute and her hair has grown down to halfway past her femur with a red beanie. She says she's donate her hair but she doesn't want to look stupid because of someone else's needs. (Don't hate me)
Elena went on to be a model. Another of the shortest but a great body. She finally grew the boobs she complained about not having in middle school. She models three times a week and makes a really good salary. As soon as she finishes school, she plans on moving to Paris for the big fashion industries to get better modeling jobs. She's usually wearing a nice white shirt that hangs over both shoulders with a pastel blue skirt. Flower crown in her pixibob haircut with vintage glasses that frame her face perfectly. She still prefers not to wear heals because that'd be "pushing too much feminine" out of her. Some nice flats with straps up her shin show off her healthy body. She's nowhere near skin and bones. In fact her curves make her that much better, and a great influence. She'll show off pictures of her when we were still in middle school to show how much you can change in a couple years.
Dalia went on to sing in a band. She was always a good singer. With her tank-top probably from hot topic and jeggings. She kept her lip piercing in and has gotten five or six tattoos. She moves all over the place now. Being cyber schooled for the last bit of the year. She's been to at least twenty different states and is known for inspiration in everyone. She doesn't need a label... She is Dalia and what the fuck is wrong with that.
Tammy is still quiet. Although she got into mechanics. It really surprised her but she spends her days listening to our favorite bands under the hood of a car. Jeans and a plain black tank-top with a flannel around we waist is how she usually looks. She stayed in Pennsylvania but moved to a more populated place for better business. Only 45 minutes away from where we all originally lived. She has a girlfriend who she's currently living with who's a year or two older than her. They get along great and she seams really nice.
Kansas became a publisher for New York Times. She's living in New York and had a building built buy her father who became rich. While she's finishing school, her side job is working the newspaper but as soon as she graduates, she's guaranteed a higher rank to make it her full time job. She's always wearing a cool hat on her short haircut. In a suit and tie with nice pants and sneakers. Her style is remarkable. And her writing is to die for.
As for me, I stayed where I am for now. I'll soon be leaving though. I'm currently living with my boyfriend who's been with me for three years. And before that we talked for a year and a half. He was four years older and I remember sneaking out to see him because my parents didn't approve. Right now I go to a special school for my major of cosmetology. Right after I graduate I'm going to go out into the word and start. Kasey and I are getting a house to settle down in somewhere that will benefit my job. I kept my hair shoulder length with my scene bangs. I pierced my nose, all up my ear, and got three tattoos. Depending I the season I wear sweaters or crop tops. Black jeans or leggings and All Star high tops. My socks continue to be the most colorful thing on me, other than my hair.
Ruthie still only owns one dress and wears it minimal. She's an artist who creates Japanese manga. She stayed here with me and Nikki and mails back and forth with writers in Japan. Her drawings still amaze me. She usually wears a deadpool t-shirt or something quirky, with Nikki's sweatshirt. She wears leggings and lives up to her nickname of shoes. Everyday it's something new. Maybe it has spikes on it, or the Joker, or combat boots.
Nikki still treats our senpia (Ruthie) great. She became a cosplayer and gets payed to show up at conventions to meet fans. He skills are impressive but her and Ruthie are always going far away to conventions. They plan on moving to somewhere like LA. She often wears her long hair up with a hoodie on. Black jeans and some sneakers.
So... Their story awaits.
