~Lock The Bathroom~

Ruthie's POV

The rest of the day went agonizingly slow. I texted her right before our last class telling her to meet me in the bathroom... Nothing dirty I just missed her. I was going to hug her and never let go. I made sure to take all of the keys to the bathroom from the janitor so that when I lock it no one can get in. That way teachers can't yell at us and take us back to class. For a whole 45 minute period I get to just hang out in the bathroom with my amazing girlfriend.

When I showed up at the bathroom, it was only a few minutes until Nikki showed up so I locked the door and instantly hugged her. I said I'd never let go, so I didn't. We just stood there hugging and it reminded me of how much taller she is than me. She's really tall and I'm really short so our height difference is HUGE! (*cough cough*) We started talking about our days and the things we did in all of our classes. Although school is boring, talking to her about it is something I don't mind. And I made sure I listened and remembered everything. In first period, she took a test and did pretty damn good. In second, she said she saw me and instantly her day was better. In third, she said she listened to music and the teacher tried to yell at her but didn't because she knows what powers we have over the school. And then for the rest of the day not much happened. Other than lunch this day has been kinda boring. And even lunch wasn't like every other day. Hannah didn't make dirty jokes about us since she wasn't here, so we just talked about clothes or songs that we listen to a lot. I would say I never realized how loud she was until she wasn't there... But I've already noticed that she can't simply quiet the fuck down. I still love her though.... Sometimes.

As I explained my day to Nikki, I slid my back down the wall to sit on the floor. It wasn't comfy or clean, but I didn't want to be standing. Nikki sat down next to me and wrapped her arm around me. She was always so warm. Her hugs always remind me of our first vacation together. We went to a beach house freshman year. It was really nice. It was right next the the shore and we went night swimming in the heated pool that was halfway in the house and halfway out. I remember looking over the edge of the pool to the beach. It was really pretty because the moon lit up the ocean and reflected the empty beach in the water. During the day we would go down to the ocean and swim in there or play a dumb game. We'd have splash wars and contests. But at night we'd go in the heated pool and it was seriously a heaven.

Nikki always smells somewhat like the beach so that's why it reminds me of that. But I always think back to having ice cream for breakfast, wasting our money on dumb souvenirs, and cuddling in bed together while watching tv reruns. It was as good as Disney since I was with her. Anything can compare to the nicest place in the world as long as I have my Nikki with me. Getting sand EVERYWHERE isn't my idea of fun, but Nikki made it worth every grain of that dumb sand.

I got out my phone to take a picture for snapchat like I do almost everyday. We're constantly taking pictures together to remind every ass at the school that we're taken. They like to think they're better than us, but we prove them wrong. I remember in elementary school and middle school where we were made fun of for being different. But now look who's better. And honestly, as soon as schools over, no one cares if you were prom king or queen. It's not worth any effort.

I stood up and went into a stall, locking myself in.
"What are you doing, now?" Nikki asked. I didn't respond because soon I maneuvered my way to be on top of the stalls and crawl across. If I was animal it would probably be a monkey because I climb everything I see. All of my friends know that by now. I moved to the edge of the closed door and just sat there with my legs dangling. I kicked them back and forth. Quoting Jacksepticeye and Pewdiepie, I asked, "Who's your daddy?" She knew what I was talking about because we watch that video together all the time. We both burst out laughing, so hard I started to fall off the stall. Nikki quickly ran over and caught me, gently putting me on my feet.

I checked my phone and realized the bell would ring in a few minutes so we unlocked the doors and went back to class. We gave a quick kiss goodbye even though we will see each other in a few minutes and went off in different directions. I got back just I time to gather my things and walk out. The bell rang the second I stepped in the hall. I met up with Nikki where we always do and grabbed her hand, holding it tightly. We began walking towards our house about a minute up the road. It wasn't big but it was perfect for the two of us. It was white with red shudders. When we finally arrived I smiled in content. It was finally the time of the day that I get to just cuddle and forget about everything else.
