A Taste Of Temptation

Cameron.

Its been about a month since the fight. A month since I was suspended.

But today instead of returning back to school because of smacking Dhyrah I was scheduled to a court-date for assault.

After I beat Dhyrah unconcious. And Khyro asked me to be his girl, then my dad being a complete dick kicking me out and me packing my shit and moving in with my boyfriend, then finding out I am Khyros first girlfriend I received a letter.

And boom! Dhyrah had pressed charges. But she is the one that wanted to fight me.

"Case number 4718" The judge called my number. I had Khyro there to support me, and Ka'Rahjaa had to be there

"Defendent, Cameron Baisley. Plantiff Dhyrah Lennard"

Luckily Khyro had cashed me out the best lawyer he could find. I was nervous as the judge read the prosecution.

"Is it understood that Ms.Lennard is pressing charges for continuous assault"

I almost choked. Continuous? Oh thats rediculous.

"I object your honor, my client Ms.Baisley was taunted by the plantiff" My lawyer spoke up for me.

"Um but its stated in a school suspension letter that Cameron- excuse me Ms.Baisley assaulted Lennard in class" Dhyrahs Lawyer stepped in.

"Your honor" My lawyer spoke with confidence.

The judge cleared his throat. "Um yes, Mr.Keyl don't interrupt please"

My lawyer nodded please with himself. "It was reported that my client was provoked earlier that morning. Their was a scuttle in the hallway between a few former friends" He made sure he had everyone's attention.

"One of the friends being Ms.Lennard". He glanced around. My stomach was hurting and I wanted nothing more than to just lay down. All this court shit wasn't getting it. If she wanted a restraining order then okay! She can get one. But why she gotta try and get me locked up and shit?

"The assault in the classroom was egged on, even by Ms.Lennard herself."

"I object" Her lawyer came through once more.

"Your honor" My Lawyer tried to continue.

The judge held up his hand to stop my Lawyer. "I'll allow it" He spoke.

"It was reported that as-soon as Ms.Baisley entered the classroom she proceeded with threats, profanity, and assault ; Baisley yes was taunted by the class but what are we supposed to do? Haul them all to court for foolishness? We can't use taunting, and provoking manners as a defense here", her lawyer was trying to speed up a bit.

"No, anything that happened in the classroom can be used against the students in the court of law" My lawyer interjected.

"Mr.Conner" The judge threw him a glare.

"As I was saying" Her lawyer continued. "There were many students present in the classroom that wittnessed the assault, there was even a student by the name of Khyro Simmons that tried to stop Baisley from assaulting my client so therefore she knew what was going on but she chose to still assault Ms.Lennard. Anyways thats not the matter at hand.

It was reported that Baisley beat Lennard unconscious during a brawl later that day at Jefferson park"

"Nah Nah" I interrupted.

The whole courtroom went still as I stood there. This bitch wasn't just bouta accuse me for everything.

"This bitch wanted to fight me over some bullshit!" I snapped.
