You stand at your locker, putting your books away when Jackson walked up to you and leaned against the locker beside yours.
"Hey Y/N. How was your day?" He asked happily. It made you happy to see Jackson happy.
"Hi Jackson, you seem happy." You responded closing your locker and facing him. His big smile pulled at your heart, only deeping the crush you had on him.
"I am so happy! I just met the most amazing girl, she is actually perfection!" He gushed. You felt your heart shatter.
"Oh..thats awesome!" You tried to cover your saddness, and Jackson seemed to believe it.
"I'll tell you all about it sometime. I gotta run, later Y/N!" He waves and runs off down the hallway. You hold back your tears and speed walk in the opposite direction.

You laughed and threw your phone on your bed. You pulled on a crop top with high waisted shorts. Feeling confident, you left the house and drove to the beach. Pulling up in the parking lot, there has to be at least a hundred people here. Julie's waiting for you in the parking lot.
"Yay your here!" She squealed.
"Like I said, only for you." You said giving her a hug.
"Hey Jackson's also here." Julie said. You felt the tears again as the conversation from earlier entered your brain.
"Oh?" Was all you could say.
"Yeah, i think he's here with...oh whats her name? I can't remember, but she goes to our school." Julie said. You only nodded. You walked towards the music and the rest of the crowd. You didn't see Jackson all night, which you were kind of grateful for. You drank a bit, danced your heart out, and talked to people from school. After a while you decided to take a walk on the beach. You see someone sitting by the ocean, by themselves. You smile to yourself, that blonde hair is too recognizable.
"Didn't expect to see you here." You whispered sitting down beside him. He smiled warmly at you.
"Hey Y/N, yeah it's been a shitty night." He said.
"What happened."
"She left me..." He said glumly. You felt sorry for him, but your heart breathed a sigh of relief.
"I'm sorry Jackson." You responded scooting closer to him.
"Why does no one like me? I mean, i'm not that bad looking am i?" He asked. You blinked, trying to register what he just said.
"Jackson, nothing is wrong with you. You're perfect!" He scoffed.
"Yeah right, if i was perfect people would like me!" He raised his voice.
"Jackson someone does like you!" You covered your mouth, but it was already too late.
"Really, who?" He asked excitedly. Oh shit.
"Uhh..." You stammered. He moved closer to you, faces only inches apart. You took a deep breath.
"Me Jackson, its me." You breathed out. His eyes widened.
"You....like me?" He asked again. You nodded. His face flushed a pink. "Y/N..."
"Please....please don't say anything." You bubblered. He cups your cheek. Leaning in slowly, he places a soft but frim kiss on your lips.
"Can i say i like you too?" He asked. It was your turn for your face to heat up. You nodded and bit your lip. Jackson smiled and bit his own lip in that way that drove you wild. One kiss turned into many more, in the light of the most beautiful sunset one had ever seen.
