The Dragon's cave

Hatchling

The first thing I remember is when I opened my eyes for the first time. The only thing I saw was darkness. Pitch black. When my eyes adjusted I saw a large scaled face looking into my own. "Hala" it said. Cooing softly, it paced and blew out soft blue fire around me in a circle then just out side it bade me to come to it " Come  little one come to your mother." Not hesitating I dart through the fire and to my mother she lets me ball up next to her stomach. She curls around me and lulls me to sleep singing an ancient dragonish lullaby

Sha ro ke nah la lo be ha
Se ho be na ken
Le ka du giri osa le
Fe go ti she la ce fo ne sfeka
Sha ni dveka no he

Long a go a young one hatched
Love filled its cave
War was peace
Death was life
In the Dragon's Cave

Whe sha noo fe ne sha
ken de fida noo
La ve gi hewi je ga ge shi lvvvvvv
Sha ni dveka no he

Seasons passed, he grew great
But love was far from reach
Then one day by the fountain he saw La She Daaaaaaaaaaaaa
In the Dragon's Cave

I lifted my head and yawned." Se nae klare kae." She said. (I love you my little flame.) I snuggled into her. "Se nae daketa." (I love you Mother)

When I woke I saw a huge scaled creature lying curled around me and my mother. I opened my snout a yaned loudly. My mother and the creature raised their snouts from their for legs. "We must teach you the toung of men." The creature said in a strange language.( you see dragons can speak dragonish as soon as they hatch.) "Who are you?" I asked in dragon. "I am your Father." He said. "Oh,-" I was going to speak when my stomach made a loud noise.  Mother and Father purred(yes we dragons can purr) Then Father grabbed something that smelled amazing and dropped it infront of me. It was bigger than me, it was a red colour and ozed something dark red. Without a second thought I tore away at it."That's my girl!" My father said as I wolfed it down soon there was nothing left and I was licking the red stuff off of my muzzle. "Thank yo-" I was cut of by a crack we turned and saw an egg with a crack going down the side. It was the same colour as the juice on my food blood red. I walked cautiously to it. Body low to the ground and my wings,and tail curled tightly to my body I was scared. Then plop!!! I retreated a few steps.Something small was on the ground. It was a silver colour. Suddenly it moved that was it I let out a yelp and ran behind my parents. I peaked out. It looked like my parent just smaller. "What is it?" "It is a dragon hatchling." Father said as he blew a soft blue fire around the hatchling. "Come young one. Come to your family." It hesitated then ran strait to (I was shocked.) Me! It snuggled into me,and nuzzled my side. I looked at my parents for guidance and they nodded. So I nuzzled it back " Hi." I said in dragonish. "Hi." "Mother, Father! It talked!" "Of course dear." Said my mother. I looked down at my brand new sibling. "It's asleep." So I curled up around it and fell asleep also. My parents curled up around us. And we all fell into darkness
