Chapter 9 - Something That We're Not

I pulled back, nervously. Cody tried to kiss me. He fucking tried to kiss me! I couldn't do anything. I couldn't pull back at first I don't know. I was frozen.  Once again someone knock the door. I got up and opened the door, hoping it wasn't Justin. Again.

''JASON!'' I screamed and hugged my cousin. He had come from England. He's 21 and we've been together since I was a baby. I haven't seen him since I came New York. 

''Why didn't you tell me that you're coming?''

''I wanted to surprise.'' He said,laughing. 

Cody came and said 'welcome' to my cousin. They shook hands.

''Hi dude. You must be her boyfriend. You two make a cute couple.'' Jason said.

''No, no we're just friends. We're not together and we were- we were studying math. Right Cody?'' I gulped.

''Yes.'' He seemed disappointed. Gosh we didn't do anything. We don't even know each other. Okay. I love him he's so cute and nice to me but he should know that I love Justin. Not anymore of course but... I don't know. Plus, he's justin's best friend. How can he do that to Justin? 

*Few hours later*

We were still talking. Actually Jason and Cody had become very good friends. 

''So,are you gonna stay here with me Jason?'' I asked him. I really wanted him to stay. ''Yeah but Im thinking about staying at Hotel'' Jason mumbled. My phone rang again. It was a text message from Justin.

''I'm really worried about you. Text me back or I'm gonna come to your house'' I smiled at the text.

 ''I'm fine,no need to worry''

''I missed you. can't wait to see you.'' He texted me back surprisingly fast. I rolled my eyes and locked my phone. 

''Cody we should hang out again some time.'' Jason screamed.They were about to become good friends which means Cody will be around Jason.

''Yeah man,I had a great time.'' He grabbed Jason's phone and entered his phone number into it.  

''I guess I'm gonna go now.'' He stood up and kissed me on the cheek. They shaked hands with Cody and he left. 

''So,we're alone again!'' He laughed. It wasn't funny at all but I fake smiled.

''Do you want to eat something? We can order pizza. '' 

''Yeah, pizza would be good.'' I nodded and called Dominos. ''Pizza will be here in 20 minutes.'' I sat next to him but he seemed upset,and ashamed. ''I'm sorry for what I did  this morning. It was so stupid, of course you're not into me like that.'' He murmured. 

 ''It's okay..I already forgot!'' I laughed  and all of a sudden the door bell went off, I walked over to the door and Cody came right behind me. I opened the door and pizza guy was standing there with pizza. Cody gave him the money and closed the door. We both walked into the kitchen and started to eat pizza.

 While I was washing the dishes, Cody was playing Flappy Bird.

''What the fuck is wrong with this game!'' Cody screamed. I laughed and sat next to him. ''What's your score?'' When he was about answer, the doorbell rang. ''I'm coming.'' I screamed and ran to the door. When I opened the door, Justin was standing in a pair of harem pants, he's favorite hoodie and a pair of supra, and to cover up he's messy hair, a cap. Damn he was so cute. He came in, grabbed my hand, pinned it in the wall and started to kiss me.

''Wait, Justin what are you doing?'' I gasped. 

''I miss you.'' He whispered, kissing my neck.

''No.'' I tried to push him but didn't work. ''Stop!'' 

''Guys?'' Cody was looking at us curiously. Justin suddenly stopped and said ''What the fuck are you doing here?''

''We were talking.'' Cody said. 

''Okay then it's over now go we have to do something really important you know.'' He smirked.

''Ok--'' '' No. Cody's not going anywhere. You're going Justin. Now go.''  I looked Cody, smiling. 

''Your punishment isn't over yet? How many times I should say that I'm sorry! I love you April, please. You know that. I'm begging you. I was wrong I know I behaved like an asshole but please...'' He seemed really upset but he deserved it. I felt sorry and I  think I was going to cry.

''We'll study.'' I gulped. Justin gave me a 'seriously' look, rolled his eyes and went. 

''You did this on purpose didn't you? To make Justin upset..You didn't really mean it.'' Cody grumbled. ''No..'' I mumbled and he looked at me like a serious look on his face. ''Okay,maybe...'' I sighed.

''Okay then I'm leaving, it was nice to see you April.'' He looked at me with disappointment written all over his face, and slammed the door as he left. He didn't even hugged me goodbye and It left me kinda baffled for a minute. 

I checked my phone and Justin left text messages claiming that he's sorry for what he's done. He has called me after he left and texted hundreds of messages. I couldn't help but read the messages again. If I said that I didn't miss Justin, I would be lying. There is not a day goes by where I don't have him on my mind but I'm afraid to forgive him so quickly.

I swung my legs over the edge of my bed. The bags under my eyes were noticable and my face seemed more pale than usual. I was clearly the definition of complete wreck. When I was about to fall asleep, I woke up by sound of my phone. It was a message from Justin. Again. 

''Do your legs hurt from running through my dreams all night?'' He was absolutely drunk.

''My legs hurt from running away from you, freak.''  I chuckled and fell asleep.
