Surprise (part 1)

Chapter 7

When I awoke, I went to find Rosalie. But what I found was much better. Her parents were gathering vampires and telling them not to act too happy. " what are we doing?" I asked them groggily, I just woke up. " We are surprising her with a dinner in her honour. You can't tell her!" Queen Lilly said while smiling. I knew they were going to do this. I wonder if Rosalie will claim the throne. If so, will I be the king?

        "Will Rosalie claim the throne sooner or later?" I ask queen Lilly, but king Jacob spoke up. "Samuel, of course she is, but first you need to tell her the whole truth. How about you go to her now and tell her?" I smiled and walked away, "oh! And Samuel? You need to tell her everything, except that she is the heir to the throne and the dinner. She needs to find out those things tonight." I nodded and walked away down the hallway to greet my girlfriend.

         Once I entered her room I heard a shower. So I got right to work. It only took me 10minutes to set everything up right. Candle So? Check, flowers? Check, flower pedals? Check. All set.

         Rosalie, walked out of the bathroom I was awe stricken she was in a beautiful dress, it was made for her. When she saw me she gasped but soon smiled when she noticed my awe stricken expression. I walked over and grabbed her hand, I led her to her bed and slather down on the edge of the bed. She looked very beautiful.

        Rosalie and I sat on her bed. She looked over the room and looked at me. I smiled and that made her blush. "Where do I start, um. Rosalie, my name is not actually John, it's Samuel. But, before you can get mad, your parents are making me tell the truth. So I am. Is that ok?" I look up to see that she is confused and scared. "Yes, go on." She gestures with her hand and looks away. I put a finger under her chin so she has to look at me, " On my 18th birthday, my wolf came out. I hurt a few people. Your parents found me and trained me to learn to control my wolf. The people I hurt were my parents, I was mad at them when they told me on my birthday and a killed them. When your parents trained me to control the wolf, they had you. By he time you were born, I was only 20 and there was a war between your species of vampires and the others. Your parents told me to call you Carol, and to bring you to them on your 18th birthday. I failed at that part. You were supposed to stay at the house where your 'parents' live. They are vampires and when I told them what you are, they took you and me in. That is how I became your butler, body guard and driver. I was protecting you. What I didn't tell them was that I needed to take you away on your 18th birthday. I needed to sneak you out in the night. But I was too late to bring you back when you turned 18 and now you are in danger and I'm sorry for that. Do you believe me?" She looked at me with anger but the anger slowly died away when my last few words sank in. "I'm fine but, why did you not tell me this before. I would have came when I urged 18 and turned into this." She gestures with her hand.

           "Your parents told me not to tell you, to bring you back not knowing. I wanted to tell you but I couldn't do obey your parents, the king and queen of how many vampires."

I looked at her and say, "do you forgive me?" She looks,at me with a sad expression. " yes, yes I will forgive you Samuel." That went better than I planed. "Than, Rosalie, princess of a beautiful queen and hansom king, will you marry me. " I got down on one knee and opened a box that withheld a beautiful diamond ring. " yes! Oh Samuel! Your so full of surprises! Yes! I will marry you Samuel!" She held out her hand and I placed the ring on her finger. She jumped up and hugged me. I love her! I love her so much!

When we finished in Rosalie's room, we went to greet her parents. "What a wonderful dress that is!" Exclaims her mother. "It looks wonderful on you my dear!" Exclaims her father. "Thank you. Mother? Can I speak to you in private Please?" "Well, of course my dear child." They leave around the corner to talk. I hope it isn't about her second thoughts about me.

I wonder what they are going to talk about.

Is she going to tell he mother about the marriage and tell her that she can't?
