Chunnin Begins-5

The next morning/Day of the exams!!

I opened my eyes to find Akira awake, watching in deep thought as I slept.
"Good morning love." I greeted giving her a small smile.
"I should get ready." She breathed slightly flustered. Lying there I watched as she grabbed clothes and hygiene products from the bags. I couldn't help but think how lucky I must be. *She must have brought our things in here last night.* I wandered getting up, and shuffling to my bag.

After grabbing some clothes I left the room, going to shower in the guest room. When I was finally clean, dry and dressed I stood in the mirror, getting a look at myself. The long sleeved shirt I wore had a high collar and was a dark red, accompanied by a pair of black ninja pants.(Like the Anbu ware)

After strapping on my fingerless weight gloves I took out a kuni and carved pockets inside my boots.*I could do the same for Akira later.*
I rigged them with heavy weights and slid them on feeling the snug comfy fit. My eyes left the mirror and landed at the person standing in the doorway.
"I'm sorry about what happened to your clan, the massecre done by its own clans man was unforgivable, but now isn't a time to grieve. Knowing your mother and sister I can truthfully say that she wants you to move on."The third Hokage  began, and I could tell that he was being truthful.

"The exams will be held at the ninja academy, so when you and your comrade gets there a ninja will escort you to the testing room." He explained looking down at my gloves.
"You are now free to take off your weights." He added looking me over.

"I will, when the time comes." I replied getting a nod of understanding. The hokage poofed away leaving me to think about what he'd said. Clearing my mind I went down to the kitchen where Akira waited.

"The fridge is empty."She pointed out tying her hair back in a long braid. Nodding I looked towards the window to see that the sun had began rising.
"We should go now." I suggested looking down at her expectantly.

She smiled and traced my jaw bone with her finger seductively. Taking her hand before she could pass I pulled her against me.
"No good luck kiss?" I asked smirking. She chuckled and lightly kissed me, losening my grip on her waist until she was free.

"Lead the way." She instructed gesturing to the door with her arms.
"Gladly." We would get breakfast before going to the academy so I brung a bit of money.

At the academy

"Where's the guy?"
Akira asked looking at the crowd of gennin who seemed to be watching a girl(Tenten)argue with some boy. As she looked around I did the same, hoping to see a familiar face, but what I saw shocked me. There was a boy, who looked like my old friend in every way.

"It can't be." I whispered going towards the boy. The closer I got the more he resembled Sasuke.
"Ori, wait for me!!"Akira called running to catch me. The boy looked my way curiously and his eyes bulged as if seeing a ghost."Sasuke?"

He took a startled step back bumping into his too team members, who I recognized as Naruto, and Sakura.
"But you died." He breathed getting a strange look from Akira, and Sakura.
"Sasuke, who is he?"The pinkett asked looking me over unable to recall me from our short past at the academy.
"Remember Ori ,he was in our academy class!" Naruto exclaimed growing slightly pissed.

My eyes refocused on Sasuke, unable to understand what this meant.
"How are you alive? Our entire clan was massacred. The hokage told me." I asked stepping closer to him. He tried stepping back but bumped into a kid.
"Ori Uchiha?" He asked in disbelief. Nodding I pulled up my sleeve showing him the wrist band he gave me six years ago.

"This must mean Itachi's still alive?" The question made his hopeful expression darken to one of hate.
"You don't know, do you?" Sasuke spat in distaste.
