She knew he was gone and although his death courageous her heart still yearned for him, to see his smile, to to stare into those ocean blue eyes and to run her fingers through his hair, if I could only hear his laugh, or to feel the warmth of his skin again, he'll never meet his son she thought as caressed her stomach he'll never teach him to play ball, never play in the yard with him on a hot summers day. He's gone again, he was gone for so long, I thought I couldn't bare the pain of it but never being able to see him again is the pain I trully cannot can bare "He's gone from me forever." She whispered softly as they handed her that folded flag she lost herself thinking as she stared at it "Was this suppose to comfort me? To fill the void in my heart that he took with him?" her hands trembled and her legs shook it took all her strength not to fall to the ground and cry, she stood tall, proud, and strong not one tear from her face fell to the ground because if one tear fell they would never stop.
