Harrys POV

“Are you serious?” I stuttered.

Liam wasn’t smoking, there’s no way.

“I know, it surprised me too”

This news was shocking; Liam definitely wasn’t one to start something like that. Hopefully it wasn’t Sophia that had started this up. Although, with all of the rumors of her cheating on him, I wonder.

Emma snuggled into my side and closed her eyes. I wrapped my arm around her and pulled her tighter against me.

“Are you tired love?”

She nodded her head and let out a small yawn.

“Let’s sleep then. I’m going to be texting Liam tomorrow”

“Can I do it? I don’t want him knowing you know, not yet”

“I guess, but if you can’t get him to stop, I’m butting in with the others.”

She smiled lazily and kissed my cheek before laying her pillow flat and moving to lay on her side. I shut my phone off and placed it on the nightstand next to the bed. After turning the light off, I laid down next to her, and draped my arm over her waist.

“I love you”

“love you to babe” she answered quietly. And with that, we both drifted off into a deep sleep.

***

The next morning I woke up before Emma, so I went to the kitchen and decided to make us some breakfast.

I pulled out some ingredients for omelets and the bacon and got to work.

While I was flipping the last omelet she walked into the kitchen dressed in sweatpants and a tank top with her hair down in waves.

“Good morning beautiful”

She walked over and wrapped her arms around my waist, and I placed a kiss on her cheek.

“The food smells so good. Do we have any coffee?”

I nodded towards the coffee pot that had been filled with her favorite coffee a few minutes ago and she let go of me and made her way to the cabinet for cups.

“Can you make me a cup to?”

“Sure babe”

She poured the two cups and set them down as I was putting the food on our plates. We both sat down and started eating.

“Oh I texted Liam and asked him to meet me for lunch today”

“Good, you’re gonna talk to him about the smoking?”

“Yeah, I wanna know why he started in the first place.”

“So do I”

I really did want to know what had started this whole thing. And if he wasn’t going to stop, the boys and I were going to get involved. I wonder if any of them knew about it?

Her phone vibrated on the table and she looked at it before typing a quick reply.

“Okay he said we can meet up at Nandos around 3. I might do some shopping afterwards with El too.”

“You went clothes shopping last weekend” I laughed

“Not clothes shopping. She wants to start looking at stuff for the baby” she placed her hand over her tummy and smiled. I don’t think it’s registered with me yet that I’m going to be a father, that baby growing inside her is a part of me, something I made. The thought really is mind blowing.
