Jade bolted into a sitting position, laying her head back against the headboard. The rain pounded against the windows, as the lightning and thunder rumbled and lit up the pitch black, night sky. Jade began to feel herself relax again. She started drifting off to sleep, only to be awoken just moments later by the monsterous pounding on the front door, down stairs.

She turned to wake Beau, but found his side of the bed empty and cold.  Panic rose in her chest, as she began to think of all the horrible things that could have happen to him.  She jumped out of bed, looking around the room for any sign that he could still be there.  Tears began to swell in her eyes as she rushed towards the door, jerking it open, not caring how loud she was.

Jade ran down the long, abandoned hallway to the stairs. Taking them two at a time she carefully manuvered down them. When she reached the middle of the stair case, she stopped, relief flooding over her at the sight of Beau’s beautifully chiseled back.

“Beau..” She sighed in relief.

Beau turned to face Jade, a small smile appeared on his face as his eyes landed on her.

“What are you doing out of bed?” He asked lightly.

“The storm woke me up.” She sighed, “And I thought something might have happen to you when you weren’t in bed.” her tears threatened to escape as she thought back to the panic and fear she felt before she came downstairs.

“I’m sorry, babe. I didn’t mean to scare you.”  He closed the distance between himself and Jade.  Beau wrapped his arms around Jade in a comforting manner as she laid her head against his chest.

The pounding on the door, that had re-awoken Jade earlier, sounded at the door again.  Beau turned his body towards the door moving Jade with him. He released her befor stalking over towards the door. He stopped just inches away, before it bursted open knocking Beau to the floor.  A scream ripped through Jade's throat, as a dripping wet and bloodied boy stumbled through the door.  Axel, Rylan, Addison and the others ran down the hall way trying to discover what was going on.

"Greyson?" Beau asked as he looked up from the floor, confusion and shock clear on his face.

On cue, Greyson looked up to face the crowed of people hovering on the stairs. "Hey guys." he spoke, his voice weak and husky. A small smile tried to pull at the corners of his lips but was quickly replaced with a pain filled expression before he fell to the floor.  Gasps filled the silence in the room before everything sunk in. Rylan charged the rest of the way down the stairs to Greyson's bleeding body.

"Don't just stand there. Help me!" She pleaded to the rest of them, unshed tears tuging at the brim of her eyes. Axel was the first to close the distance between himself and Greyson.  "I'll get some water and a towel to clean him up." He informed her in a flat, emotionless tone, before taking off towards the kitchen.  Beau finally found his footing as he stood up and walked over to Jade's side.

"Jade I need you to go get Greyson's suit case out of his room, we need to get him out of these wet clothes. Beau and Josh I need you to help me move him to the couch." Rylan declared, sounding like the med student she really was. Jade darted up the stairs to collect the items Rylan needed. Rylan bent over Greyson's bloodies body, after he had been moved to the couch. She leaned in close to his mouth, to check if he was still breathing, then pressing her fingers to the base of his neck, checking for a pulse. Axel walked into the lounge, glaring at Greyson lying on the couch, as he carried the pan of water and towels to Rylan. He sat the water on the floor beside Greyson's head, and backed away to give Rylan the space she needed.

"Axel, can you go upstairs to my room and get me the little black medical bag outta my closet?" She asked him as she began ripping the bloodied clothing away from Greyson's body. With a swift nod, Axel bolted up the staris to retrieve the bag. Jade was coming down as he went up. He sighed as she looked at him with a sad smile of understanding. Jade continued down the stairs, tugging a giant, black duffle behind her. Stoping behind Beau, she dropped the bag, a huff escaping her lips.
