Chapter 1: Part one: New York City
Rachel and Kurt were still living in New York, separately of course. Kurt was married to Blaine but they still lived in the city close by to Rachel. Rachel lived by herself in a small one bedroom apartment. She was on broadway, and also doing small shows on the side but something was missing from her life. She was happy because her broadway dream came true, but she always felt like something was missing. She hasn't seen Finn since her Funny Girl show, ten years ago. She constantly thought about him though.
After the Funny Girl show Rachel and Finn started dating again for a short amount of time. Things got a little stressful with Rachel being on broadway in New York and Finn was in college back in Ohio because it was his dream to teach at McKinley. Also, he had the glee club to worry about back in Ohio. They dated for about a year before they both mutally decided to go their separate ways and if God wanted them to be together then evenutally they would be together because they both had dreams they wanted to persue.
One of the productions Rachel was in just ended so she had more free time on her hands. She would still wake up every morning at 8 am though because it was part of her routine. She would make herself a healthy breakfest and then excersise. She got home from the gym and took a shower and then sat down to check her email. She logged into her email and opened up her inbox and started to glance through all the emails. Her heart stopped when she saw an email from "finn.hudson94@gmail.com". She didn't open it, instead she got her phone out and dialed Kurt's number to tell him about it and ask him what she should do about it.
