Mistaken Choices

Chapter 3

I quickly push Hayes off of me and he ends up falling on the floor.

Hayes: Hey! Why'd you do that?!

Me: What's wrong with you and Nash? You guys barely know me and start kissing me?!

Hayes: Well we can tell a good girl from a bad girl without even knowing them very well. I thought you liked it?

Me: The kiss was nice but still you guys-

Nash unlocks his bedroom door with his key and walks in.

Nash: Hey guys, I'm back.

Me: Look guys I need to talk to you both, sit on the bed.

Nash: What is it?

Me: Well you and Hayes both kissed me..

Nash is in shock. I can see both Nash and Hayes' faces turning a bright red.

Me: As much as I think you are both cute, I barely know you guys. And even I did know you guys well, I can't date two boys-

Hayes interrupts.

Hayes: Yeah you're right Avery. I think I can speak for both of us when I say I'm sorry. Right nash?

Nash: Yeah definitely it's- .. Yeah.

Me: What were you gonna say Nash?

Nash: Nothing.

Me: Well okay guys, let's go have something to eat I'm starving, do you guys have a McDonalds around here?

I say laughing.

Nash: Actually yeah there is. It's in walking distance and the weather is perfect. Wanna go?

Me: Yeah definitely, I'm up for it.

Hayes: What about me?

Me: Hayes you can come too.

Nash: Wait hayes, don't you have football practice?

Hayes: Ohh I forgot! I do! What time is it?

I check my phone and it's around 12:00.

Me: It's 12.

Hayes: I gotta go, my practice starts at 12:45 and it takes at least 15 minutes to get there. I wanna be early for extra practice. Bye Nash, bye Avery.

Hayes leaves to go to football practice.

Nash: Okay do you wanna head out now?

Me: Yeah I just gotta tell my mom. Can we walk over to my house?

Nash: Sure. Mom! I'm going to McDonalds with Avery.

Liz: Okay Nash. I'll see you later.

Me and Nash head out to my house. I arrive but my mom isn't there. She left a note on my bedroom door saying she went out to buy some food. So I text her telling her where I am going.

Me: Okay let's go.
