Mistaken Choices

Chapter 2

Nash takes me to his room and it's really nice. I expected it to be a complete mess, but it was actually pretty clean. Nash guides me to the bed and we both sit down next to each other.

Nash: So Avery tell me about yourself.

Avery: Well I play volleyball, I'm 14, I do gymnastics, umm I'm single haha.

Nash's POV

I decided to ask Avery to tell me about herself. She's athletic, she's 14- not too young for me, and best of all she's single. We were sitting pretty close to each other, I just wanted to kiss her. I made up a plan in my head of how I was gonna get to kiss her right now.

Me: So now that you've brought up being single, what's the best thing a guy can do to impress you?

Avery: Well, I like when he is spontaneous. A perfect situation would be him just kissing me out of the random.

As soon as Avery said that I was just about ready to lean in and kiss her but, I decided I was gonna wait another minute.

Nash: Yeah I like spontaneous too.

Now I'm ready to lean in I start to lean and I feel our lips pressed against each other. Our lips start moving in sync. It's starts off as a regular kiss but then ends up turning out into a complete make out session. It's been at least a minute and were still going. We finally pull away after about 1 minute and 30 seconds total but it wasn't the end of the kiss. We pull away and Avery starts laying down as I get on top of her. We keep kissing until Hayes slams in.

Hayes: WHOA THEREEEE.

I quickly get off of Avery and sadly our kiss ended.

Hayes: Okay I'm not even gonna comment on what I just saw but Nash can I borrow you for a minute?

Me: Sure

Avery's POV

Nash kissed me! Jeez he's a good kisser I mean at first when he got on top of me I was like whoa but I just let it slide.

Nash's POV

I was really embarrassed when Hayes walked in. I mean besides the fact that were brothers, he's still younger than me and I didn't want him to see that and get the wrong idea.

Hayes: Well damn you were getting it.

Nash: Shh!

Hayes: Well anyways, Dad said he needs you to come to the store with him.

Nash: Okay, keep Avery company while I'm gone.

Hayes' POV

When I walked into Nash's room I saw them making out and I was kind of pissed because I like Avery. I decided that when Nash left I was gonna make my move. I walked in making sure the door was locked and told Avery that Nash would be gone for about a half an hour.

Avery: So what do you want to do?

Hayes: Well why don't I continue where my brother left off..

Then I kissed her. I gave her normal soft pecks on the lips nothing more.

Avery's POV

Hayes kissed me! He didn't kiss me like Nash did but still! Wait didn't Hayes say Nash is coming back in a half hour?! How much time has it been?! I barely know them?! Do they BOTH like me..?
