Mistaken Choices

Chapter 11

Still Avery's POV

I picked out my outfit that I was gonna wear today-my light wash American eagle jeans with my blue superman shirt I borrowed from my friend and never managed to give back. I slipped on my pink Adidas slides and decided to step outside to try and remember what happened last night. I open the door and it's snowing!

Me: "Nash! It's snowing!"

*Nash comes running to the door*

Nash: "Awe it is snowing! By the way good morning!"

He kissed my cheek.

Me: "What are you doing?"

I pull away in the middle of him kissing my cheek.

Nash: "Just giving you a kiss.."

Me: "A kiss for what?"

Nash: "Well you're my girlfriend so.."

Me: "G-girlfrie- I need to get some um fresh air I'll be back."

I quickly slam the door so quickly and hard I'm surprised I didn't hit him. Nash is my boyfriend?? Hayes is my boyfriend too?? Then everything became clear. All the shit that went down last night clicked in my head. What have I done. I like Nash..but I also like Hayes. I don't want to break either of their hearts because they're my bestfriends! Okay I have to figure out which one it's gonna be.. But in the mean time I'll play it off. Okay I have a plan.

I walk back inside and see Nash alone in the room he slept in. I quickly make my way over to him and shut the door. I look around the room to make sure everyone else is gone.

Nash: "Avery what's up? Thanks for slamming the door in my face by the way."

Me: "I'm so sorry about that I need to tell you something though."

Nash: "Okay what is it?"

I whisper.

Me: "Shh. Okay so I've decided we shouldn't let anyone know we're dating even Hayes & Cam because I want to keep it a secret."

Nash: "Okay that's fine with me but when will we kiss then?"

Me: "I'll figure that out later but trust me I'll make time. I gotta go do something real quick. How long are we staying here at Cam's?"

Nash: "Probably gonna spend the night again. I'll tell my mom to tell your mom like we did when we went to the party and stayed here. Your mom trusts me with you."

He grabs my hands and I lean in this time to kiss him. Before I could take control of the kiss he started to take control.

Me: I pull away. "Mmm okay I gotta go do something."

Nash: "Yeah me and Cam are going to visit our friend Nick for a little. Will you be okay taking care of Hayes for a couple hours?"

Me: "Yeah sure."

Me and Nash walked out of the room and I said goodbye to him and Cam as they drove off in the flurry snow now starting to gradually build up.

As soon as Nash said "Will you be okay taking care of Hayes..?" I instantly felt like a babysitter to Hayes. He's my second boyfriend not some little kid.. Although he is younger than me.. But only by a year.. Ugh I'm really contradicting myself right now. Not that it's wrong to date someone younger but Hayes still doesn't know something's about love and Nash does. I can take it farther with Nash. I mean not sex but you know.

I walked into Hayes' room and sat next to him on his bed.

Hayes: "Hey can I ask you something?"

Me: "Yeah sure."

Hayes: "Have you ever tongue kissed..?"

Me: "Yeah why?"

I started thinking of 10 minutes earlier when Nash and I were french kissing.

Hayes: "Well I've never had and.."

Me: "And you want me to teach you how? Sure."

Hayes: "You read my mind babe."
