Don't ma'am me.

"Silvie, don't worry," Harry says as he pulls into a driveway. "It's only my mum, Robin, and Gemma. They know about you."

"That doesn't help me, Harry," I don't move from the front seat as he puts the car in park. This is insane. We just started... whatever this is. And I like him, a lot. But his family? What if they don't like me? I'm American.

"You'll be fine," he squeezes my thigh before getting out of the car.

"Hey Moose," Justin claps my shoulder, "move your ass. It's my first time meeting them too!"

"But you're not with their son..." I mumble to myself as I get out of the car.

"I'll come back to grab the bags," Harry says as he grabs my hand to walk to the door, "Don't try and run away."

It's a two-storied house, detached from the neighbors. It's set back from the road, with a long driveway leading to the garage. As I stand in front of the red door, I freeze.

"Are you sure I'm dressed okay?" I ask as I tug on my coat thinking about my deep blue V-neck sweater underneath. I look down at my leggings and brown boots.

"You look beautiful," he squeezes my hand, "Let's go..."

He knocks once and in an instant a woman opens the door. She has a kind face and dark hair, "Harry! Come in!" She practically drags him into the house in a bear hug. Once she releases him she pulls me into a hug, "Oh, my dear, I'm sorry. I-,"

I giggle, "That is absolutely fine," I smile up at her.

"You must be Silvara," she gives me a bright smile, "It is a pleasure to finally meet you."

"Mrs. Twist, it is an absolutely pleasure to meet you," I smile.

"Please, it's Anne," she turns to Justin, "And you must be Justin. Come in come in! Don't stand outside!"

"Thank you, ma'am," he walks through the door to join us in the foyer, "For letting me spend the holidays with you," he gives her one of his polite smiles.

"You do not need to thank me," she turns to the hallway, "Robin! They're here! Gemma will be home in a bit. Made her run to the grocery to grab a few things."

A stocky man with glasses and graying hair joins us, "Hello," he has a kind face as he smiles towards us.

"Robin!" Harry gives him a big hug, "This is Silvara, and that young chap is Justin."

"Pleased to meet you," he shakes our hands.

"You have a lovely home," Justin says to start conversation. He can tell I'm nervous.

"Come in! You all must be exhausted!" she ushers us into the living room, "Please have a seat. Take off your coats. Would you like tea? Sandwich? Cookies?"

"Mum," Harry walks towards her and envelopes her into a hug, "take a breather. Sit down. I can get everything."

"Please, let me help as well," I offer as I make a move to help Harry.

"Absolutely not," Anne gives a small laugh, "take a seat. Dinner is about done." She walks into the kitchen.

"So, Justin," Robin says from the couch across from ours, besides the large Christmas tree, "Military?"

"Yes, sir. Navy SEAL."

"Americans are one of our most trusted allies. So I thank you," Robin shakes his hand again.

"Are they here?" I hear a voice ask from the kitchen.

"Yes, mum, they are."

"Nan!" Harry says loudly as he runs over to an adorable elderly lady walking slowly into the room. He envelops her into a tender hug.
