A/N: This is my new short-story; a romantic tragedy. It takes place in the year 2001, re-telling the tragic event on September the 11th. My prayers go out to all the families who might still be suffering from losing their loved ones, that day. I hope after reading this story, you will appreciate what you have and appreciate all the little things in life. Do not take anything for granted.
I introduced this story with a poem by my character 'Alice Haylen.' The poem is written by me, and hopefully you were able be able to decipher the message, and have an introduction to my short-story. Although this is specifically about 9/11, it doesn't mean things like these won't happen ever again. Therefore I hope anyone, of any age, would be able to learn something from what I'm about to write.
