28 days of Love

February 5&6

February 5.

Today, he took me on a date. With him and his friends.

We were at a mall. We were going to watch a movie. Then eat.

As we were walking one of Luke's friend "Matt" told us that there is one more person joining us. But, what they hadn't told us is that the other person was Luke's ex-girlfriend "Monique"

"Monique, please don't leave me. I love you. Promise, I'll be loyal to you. And about what happened with me and Louise won't happen again." Luke told Monique as he was on he's knees begging. And I was there on a corner watching them supporting my best friend even though it hurts.

Without saying a word Monique just left. Luke was still on his knees and tears started to fall from his eyes. I ran to him and hugged him. And I tried to comfort him.

This happened a few months ago before we started this whole dare thing.

As usual Monique was wearing a floral mini dress and a 4 inch heels. And I'm just the kind of girl who wears skinny jeans, a shirt, a beanie and wear sneakers. We're so different.

I really don't know why Luke liked me. Now this feels awkward.

As we were walking they boys and Monique were talking and I was just listening to them.

While walking, Luke holds my hand and kissed them. "Don't get intimidated by her. You're my present." he whispered to me. "I am not. We...we.. well, is it that obvious?" I honestly told him. "It's okay." he whispered then kissed me in the forehead.

When the time came for us to watch a movie. Luke decided that we would sit away from them. And the boys agreed.

While watching the movie I was clinging onto him and I rested my head on his shoulders. And he rested his head over my head. "You're really small, you know that. But, before you smack me, small girls are really cute." he told me. "I am not cute." I pouted. Then he pinched my cheeks.

Then suddenly there's a guy who tapped Luke's back. It was Matt. He whispered "Don't do that while watching a horror movie. It's very inappropriate."

Damn, they were just sitting behind us.

After the movie, we went to eat dinner. We all sat at a one table. And Luke was sitting right in front of Monique and I was right next to him.

They weren't talking at all. It was really awkward. Then Matt announced that he was dating Monique. And that made everything really awkward but then Luke stood up and congratulated him.

When Luke took me home we were standing in our front porch and he kissed me in the lips it lasted for about 7-8 seconds. He said Sorry for what happened. And I told him that it's okay. When he left, I was shocked. "He never say sorry. But.. Ugh, even to his past girlfriends."

February 6.

Today, is our 6th Friend Anniversary. Ye hey!! I bought him a gift.
I texted him. "Hey baby, good morning. Sleep well? I hope you did. Happy friend-anniversary. I love you. Always remember that, okay? :)"

He replied, "Baby, come to our house. I'm sick. :( I can't visit you. So, will you come to my house instead?"

I replied, "Yeah sure. Wait for me. I'll just take bath and prepare."

Meanwhile..
"Okay mom. Do I look handsome?" Luke asked his mom. "Son, you always do." his mom complimented him.

Back to Patricia.

While I was getting closer to Luke's house. I see many people.

When I got out of my dad's car. There was a guy, waiting for me. And there was a red carpet.

On the end of the carpet, I saw Luke all dressed up. He was holding a bouquet of roses. And all the people around me was like.. "I envy her." "I wanna be like her." And in my head I'm like. "I'm so lucky!!" When I got to him, he kneeled and said, "Will you be girlfriend for real this time?" I was thinking this could break our friendship but in the past few days I really felt it wasn't just a dare. So I said No.

He was shocked like everybody else. He suddenly broke into tears. I pulled him up. I told him, "Don't cry please. I wanted to say Yes but I didn't because I wanted to be sure. I wanted to make sure that we are going to last forever." I wiped the tears falling from his cheeks.

He told me he understands then he stole a kiss from my lips. He said "Maybe you could say no from being my girlfriend but you can't say no from the handsome Luke's kiss."

I really feel guilty saying No. I kept on saying sorry to him. And he keeps on repeating "I'll kiss you if you won't stop asking that." Then I shut up.

"You know I'm really serious about you. So, I'm going to wait for you." He told me then he pinched my cheeks.
