PoV: Archie Andrews

I saw Betty kiss someone late last night. I wasn't creeping..I was just causally looking out of my window to see if Betty was awake, then I looked at the front of her house to see if was coming home, and well..she was, and she was occupied.

I need to know who that was...for her safety of course. No other reason alright? We're best friends and I need to make sure that she is safe. I'll ask her tomorrow at school, hopefully she'll be alone at one point...

**The Next Day...(Still Archie's PoV)**

Today's the day, I'm going to find out who is using my best friend. I mean, it's not like Betty is going to immediately start dating someone after she stops liking me...right?

•At The School•

PoV: Betty Cooper
Today is going to be a great day, Jughead and I are sorta dating, the sky is blue, the birds are chirping, and-
"Archie?! I mean um..hey Archie."
"Hey Betty, can we talk in private?" he asks.
"I don't think that's a good idea but I guess we can.." I reply.

We go to the student lounge, but there were people there, of course..then the gymnasium, but there were people there too, so we went to the field.
"What Archie? Cmon I don't want to be late to class," I say sternly.
"Well, I saw you yesterday...at around 11 o' clock..kissing someone," he said nervously.
"W-well that's none of your business Archie, it's my life, not yours," I say a bit angrily.
"Yes it is my business Betty! You're my best friend. So please just tell me," he asks.
"I-I c-can't!" I say as I run back into the school, away from him."
"Betty wait!" He says, while chasing after me.
I lost him when I ran into the Blue And Gold "HeadQuarters" expecting to see Juggie, but just my luck..he wasn't there.
I texted him, "Hey Juggie, where are you? Please I need someone to talk to and you're the only one I want to talk to."

PoV: Jughead

As soon as I received the text I immediately texted a quick reply just asking, "Okay Betts, where are you?"
She texted me back stating, "I'm in the student lounge. Whatever you do, don't lead Archie here please. So just hide from him I guess. ;("
That text didn't shock me a bit. I knew that she was upset over either Veronica or Archie, so I did exactly what she asked me to do. To hide from Archie.

I saw Archie a few times, searching the halls, I don't think that he saw me, but he could've..as I reached the Blue And Gold HeadQuarters, I hear Archie call my name, "Jug, Jughead!"
It was from far away, so I could probably get inside the HQ without him finding me. So, I took that risk and went in, just to find Betty pacing, nervously.
She looked at me and said happily, "Juggie!"

She kissed me and a trillion bits of electricity went through me. It felt like..fireworks. I was happy, she was happy..but there was still something she was upset about, and I was just about to find out what that exactly was.
"Juggie...Archie saw me kissing someone last night. He doesn't know that it was you, but he is very suspicious about it," she says.
"W-what? How did he see us? It was pretty dark out...was he like, creeping on you?" I say jokingly.
"Haha, very funny," she says sarcastically.
"So, Betts..what are we going to do? Are we going to tell him that it was me or no?" I ask.
"Well...I do enjoy the thrill of having to keep this a secret," she says with a wink.
"but, Archie is going to be mad that it was you. Something tells me that this isn't just about keeping me safe..," she says.
"I don't know about that Betts, I think he's just trying to be a good friend and to keep you safe," I say.
"Well I guess you're right.." she says smiling.
"And by the way, maybe we should tell Archie together, soon maybe." I say.
"Of course, he deserves to know about this," she states.
We kiss once again, as we say our goodbyes.

During Lunch...
(The Next Day)
PoV: Archie Andrews

I go to sit with the usual, Jughead, Veronica, Kevin, and Betty. Something felt awkward when I talked to Betty now, not about the whole, who did you kiss thing, but when I talk to her..I get all nervous. Maybe I'm in over my head, I don't like Betty like that! I had my chance, I lost it. I don't like Betty like that! Why does this have to be so hard? Anyway, Veronica and I are sort of together now so why should I care that Betty kissed someone?

We just had a normal lunch until Betty got up to use the bathroom. I got up a few minutes later so it wouldn't look like I was following her.
When I went up to her (yes I was in the girls bathroom) I just asked her again, "who'd you kiss Betty? Please tell me."
She was in complete shock that I, Archie Andrews was in the girls bathroom. I mean, it's not that big of a deal right?

PoV: Betty Cooper

Why the hell is Archie here!? Like he could've at least waited until I got out of the bathroom!
"Get out Archie! Cmon a little privacy," I say jokingly.
He asked me again and again, "Who kissed you?!"
Until I couldn't take it anymore, so surprise, surprise I ran out again. This time I ran into the girls locker room and I texted Jughead, "Archie is trying to figure out who kissed me again, where are you now help!?"
Juggie replied saying, "I'm at the lunch table with Archie actually..\:"
"Okay, well just stay there.." I said.
"Alright Betts:)" she said. Gosh I love it when he calls me that.

PoV: Archie Andrews

So I see Jughead texting someone and smiling. I'm curious who that might be, so I take a quick glance and see to my shock, that it's Betty. So I take out my phone to tell Betty how I feel, because maybe Jughead likes her, and maybe I can get to her first! Unless he already has.
I text Betty saying, "I'm so sorry Betty, please forgive me. I need you."
She replies, "Archie, it's okay."
Then I start being flirty, hoping that she'll do it back to me, "Well how about we just go to Pop's tonight, alone. Maybe we can do just more than talk;))"
It takes her a little longer to reply to that but when she did she said, "Archie I can't tonight maybe another time?"
"Maybe she feels the same way," I think to myself.

PoV: Jughead

I see Archie on his phone texting someone, I'm guessing that it's Betty because she hasn't been responding to my texts, so she might be talking to Archie.
Then I looked, without Archie seeing, noticing that Archie was just about to send a text saying, "Betty I love you, please go out with me. Just like your fantasy, a cheerleader and a football player being together."
Before he could send that I yell, "Archie don't!" because I feel like she might want to be with him... but he does anyway. I got so nervous because I wanted to be with Betty.
Then Betty replies to Archie's text saying, "Sorry Archie, but I'm in love with Jughead." When I see that, sparks fly. For Archie he gets increasingly angry. He punches me straight in the eye.
"Take that Jug, for stealing my girl!" He says. With Veronica right in front of us.

She was just as shocked as I was. Betty comes back outside to come find me, but she did on the ground, bloody.
"JUGGIE?!" she screams.
