"Helllllpppp" Someone called towards Percy. "Heellpp meeeee." ..........

........................................................................................................…....

Percy woke with a start. He had been dreaming someone was in trouble. It almost looked like-no. It couldn't be her. He tried to shake the idea out of his head. He put on his orange CHB shirt, and walked out of his cabin. He walked up to the pavilion. He sat down at his table, and watched as everyone ate. He saw Mr. D- one of his least favorite people. He saw Chiron- his favorite centaur.  And he saw Annabeth- his girlfriend of a year. Their anniversary was today. He was planning a great day for their anniversary. He hoped she would enjoy it.

After breakfast, he walked over to Annabeth.

He grinned and said "hey Wise Girl"

"Hey Seaweed brain" she replied.

He leaned over, and kissed her forehead.

"Happy 1 year anniversary." She nodded. He grabbed her hand.

"What are you doing?" she asked.

He didn't reply. He whistled

"Need a ride?" Blackjack asked.

Blackjack was a Pegasus, and a loyal one. He and Percy could communicate, because they were both descendants of Poseidon.

"Yes, indeed I do"

He and Annabeth both climbed aboard. Annabeth wrapped her arms around Percy's waist, and laughed.

"Where are we going?" she asked

"Shhhhhhhh" Percy replied.

They flew along, Annabeth’s curiosity growing. They finally began to descend. Annabeth saw they were landing on the Eiffel Tower. Her heart raced.

"Oh My Gosh!!" she screamed!

She began rattling off about architectural facts. Percy smiled. He grabbed her hand, and they both got off of Blackjack. They waved him goodbye as they flew off. He led her to an elegantly set table, with her favorite foods on the table. Her eyes lit up. She reached over to kiss him.

They sat down, and began to eat. Annabeth had never felt so touched this was the nicest thing anyone has ever done. Well-except for.......

         Her mind drifted

She was seven again. Her savior- Luke was staring down at her.

"Here you go" He said smiling kindly, "A lot of people prefer swords, but a knife can be used by the cleverest. And I think you're clever"

She had swelled with pride when she had heard that. But oh how he changed, this handsome boy thought she was clever. The one who saved her. How could he have turned so evil? How could he do that to her? She had always trusted him. Always believed in him. How could he betray her? At the end of his life he asked her if she liked him. She would always love him. Until her last breath. Oh yes, she loved Percy- but Luke was special. And now he was dead.
