To be turned down is an offense or a failure to some people.
I read a story where someone kept asking this girl out and she said no, then one day he threatened to kill her, but got caught.
If you get wound up over being rejected to the point where you would literally kill someone simply because they didn't want to date you, you don't deserve a relationship.
