Chapter 15

Allison's P.O.V.

"Going!" I shout after hearing the doorbell go off. I open the door and a smile spreads on my face as soon as I see Mario standing there.

"Wanna watch Netflix?" I continue to smile.

"Ally.. I'm going back to Florida.. right now.." He says looking up at me then back down at the ground.

"What.."

He looks up at me with watery eyes, "I'm so sorry, I don't have a choice."

"You can't just.. leave." I say, my vision getting blurrier.

He steps closer to me and wraps his arms around me, "I'm so sorry. We'll FaceTime everyday, I promise."

I wrap my arms around him tightly, not wanting to ever let go.

"I love you." He whispers into my ear.

"I love you too." I whisper lower than he did. "You'll come back, won't you?"

"Of course." He says as he pulls away and gives me a smile, wiping his tears away with the sleeve of his sweatshirt. He wipes my tears away then gets my right hand and holds it with both of his hands, laying a light kiss on it. He gives it a little squeeze then continues to hold it.

A honk goes off from behind him, then I notice a car waiting there on the side of the road. He looks back at the car then quickly turns to me.

"I need to go.." He says lowering my hand down then letting it go. I throw my arms around him and let out a little cry.

"I'm gonna miss you."

"I'm gonna miss you too." He says in a shaky voice.

We pull away and I lay a kiss on his cheek, "Be carful and have a nice ride. Text me when you get there, okay?" I say, wiping away tears from my cheeks.

"I will. Keep your promise, alright?" He smiles. I smile back and nod.

He looks down at the ground then back up at me. He turns around and starts walking away slowly. He stops in his steps and turns back around to me, running. He stops right in front of me and grabs my face with both of his hands, pulling me in for a kiss that sends chills up my spine.

"Bye Ally." He smiles and runs to the car.

"Bye Mario." I whisper.

After hours of watching Netflix and eating my feelings away, I decided to slip on a hoodie and walk to the park.

I was walking around on the sidewalk listening to my music when I see Beth. I smile and jog up to where she was sitting on a bench.

"Hey Beth! I haven't talked to you in a while." I smile. She looks up at me and rolls her eyes, "Keep it that way." She stands up and jogs away. I bite my bottom lip and decide I had gotten enough of the outdoors world. I'm better off staying inside.

I walk back to my house and throw my self onto my bed once I was safely inside. Why didn't Beth want to talk? I thought we were best friends.

My phone started to ring and I smiled when I saw Mario's contact on the screen.

"I'M HERE SAFE AND I'M SO SORRY I TOOK FOREVER TO CALL I called like 50 times but you didn't answer." He says as his face pops up on my screen.

I laugh, "I was downstairs and outside, sorry."

"I miss you already. I hate the fact that I can't take a quick Uber to your house." He says sticking his bottom lip out.

"Awww, you're so cute." I smile, "I miss you too."

"Lets cuddle." He smiles.

"How does that work?" I laugh.

"You hug your phone and I hug my phone."

"That's weird."

"So, you wanna do it?"

"Ya bet!" I laugh as I put my phone down on a pillow and hug the pillow. I'm basically hugging my phone, shh!

"Now we talk." He says in a soothing voice.

I let out a little laugh and smile.

We talked and talked about anything and everything. I don't know how long we stayed talking because I fell asleep while he was telling me one of his stories. I love when he tells me stories.
