Allison's P.O.V.
"So, are you okay?"
"I'm great. Fan fucking tastic." I say looking up at the ceiling.
"I know when you're lying, Al." Mario says in a serious voice. No, he's not with me, we've just been talking on the phone. I wish he was here to cuddle me and make me feel better though.
"I'm not lying, Mario. I'm fine."
"Again, I know what fine means, have you forgotten?" I hear him sigh, "Let it out, baby."
I feel butterflies explode freely in my stomach.
Did he just say baby? Did he just call me baby? Did I hear that wrong? Ugh, I love that.
"I- Um- What?" I stutter.
I hear him chuckle, "Tell me. Spill the beans! Give me some tea to-"
"Shhhh shut up." I cut him off.
"No. Blah!"
"What did you call me?"
"When you were born, I named you Allison." I can practically hear his smile.
"Yes, daddy." I laugh.
"Oooh, call me that again."
"Marihoe stop being a hoe." I giggle.
"Yes, baby." He says, yet again making my stomach flip.
"I- Uh- Hmm?" I manage to say. Real smooth, Allison.
He chuckles, "You're so cute."
"Uh- Erm- I-" I roll my eyes, "Stop doing that."
"Doing what?" I hear him laugh, but try to cover it.
"I hate you."
"No you don't."
"Bet." I laugh.
"BET!" He shouts through the phone.
"Okay, but all jokes aside, tell me whats wrong." He says in a serious tone.
"It was just... a thing." The image of them kissing starts repeating in my head and I feel tears start to prick my eyes.
"What thing?"
"Mario, I don't want to talk about it."
The line goes silent for about a whole minute, then he speaks.
"Okay."
"Thank you." I sigh.
"Yeah, just keep your promise."
I nod then realize he can't see me, "Okay."
