Chapter 3 ~ Meeting The Williams

Sabrina's phone rang out which she barely heard since she turned her radio on and was jamming along with the music, this helped pass the time away. She grabbed her phone from the seat next to her and knew it would be Katie, so she didn't bother to look at the caller ID.

"What's up girl? Okay, you said the next exit? I got it, chill. I just wanted to make sure geesh. You seem wound up or something are sure you are okay?" Sabrina asked, not liking how her friend sounded on the phone right now.

Of course she would not get an answer from her, but they were pulling off the highway, and she was to pull into the first gas station she saw. Sabrina was ready to stretch her legs and change her clothes, being away from she didn't feel comfortable in the clothes she was wearing.

Climbing out of her at the pump, might as well fill her tank up while they were there. Katie rushed inside the station while she was pumping her gas. Was she going to be sick or was she late meeting someone? But that didnt make any sense, the older couple wouldn't come to a station to meet them, would they?

Sabrina tried to keep her eye on Katie as she was in the gas station, but she was rushing around like a insane person. When Sabrina walked into the station herself to pay for the gas, Katie was no where to be seen. That is when she looked up to tell the clerk the number of the pump she used, and Katie was sitting back in her own car.

What in the hell was going on with that girl? She has been really jumpy all day and Sabrina couldn't help but wonder why. She wouldn't be able to ask her until they arrived and she met the older coupld Mr. and Mrs. Williams. Bet your bottom dollar she would get to the bottom line of what was going on with her friend.

Finally they arrived at a ranch style home, she could see that the owners have two horses, and she tried to calm her nerves. This is not what she expected, she thought she would be cleaning for the old couple, so when she saw the horses she was hoping her job title had nothing to do wth them.

She sat in her car while Katie climbed out of hers with a smile, she looked around to see the yard was huge with many trees, that helped with some privacy not that it would matter, the drive-way was like a mile down from the road. Sabrina climbed out of her car slowly to stand next to katie and to continue to star at her surroundings. This is not a place she would chose to move too because it was out in the middle of nowhere pretty much. She didnt see another house, not like where she lived and there was ten houses on each side of the block.

"Relax and smile Sabrina, rememeber we are trying to make a good first impression, and I am sure they are watching us right now. They want to see how you react to them not meeting you on time." She pointed out.

Sabrina wanted to know how she would know that, Katie would never have job like this. She was a career woman and there was nothing here that appealed to her friend. She looked at her with hooded eyes, but plastered a smile on her face as she waited for her bosses to make a appearance.

"I am so sorry we are late to meet you. We had to get your room together and make sure the few employees we have on hand know that you were coming, we dont want them to scare you when they come into the house." Mrs. Williams stuck her hand out to shake Sabrinas hand.

The older woman looked so young, she didn't look as if her husband was getting ready to retire, and take her around the world. It must be great to keep your youth so long, she smiled brightly showing the twinkle in her blue eyes.

"Hi, It is very nice to finally meet you. Katie keeps praising you both and I feel that I have known you all my life already," Sabrina smiled back at the couple.

So far the man hasn't said anything to her, but she could feel his eyes on her the whole time she enter acted with his wife. Sabrina wanted to hide from the way his eyes roamed over as if he was taking a big thirsty drink of her.
