You're there in the middle of nowhere
Nothing but pitch black and barely visible
Trees
You've lost all hope and are laying down looking up at the faintly glowing stars
"This is it" you softly mumble to yourself
But then you hear the rustling of trees
Almost as if someone was brushing against the branches
You think you're delusional
Off in the distance you hear a quiet noise
You start to sprint away
You trip over a rock and cut your leg
"I'm hear to help you" you hear slightly over your silent cries
You lay thinking I'm crazy
I'm hallucinating
You lay there the thoughts in your head filling
Do I lay here and let the person come over and save me
But what if they're in my thoughts and I'm hear dying
The person comes over and you slightly recognize them
They help you up and you don't remember the rest
The next thing you know is your laying in bed
Someone walks in with a cup of tea
"So tell me everything that happened" they say
Remember the person who helped you out of the woods not the person who comforted you in the end
