The Anniversary

Previously on Letters to the stars....

Mark got in touch with liz finally after so long and right when he was about to tell her about his condition, her phone rang and mark drove liz home.

Elizabeth POV

Liz had already gone inside and finds her mom doing some house chores, and she asks her what she need help with.

Liz: Mom? what did you need help with again?

Mom: oh i got it covered, you can go to your room now or something. *smiles*

Liz: Okay.

Liz goes to her room and is thinking of what to do for their anniversary.

Liz: what am i gonna do? this is my first time and i want it to be special.

She then gives some though of what she will do and finally she settles with give mark the letters she wrote to the stars as a gift.

*Next day* ANNIVERSARY DAY

Liz's mom enters the room and wakes up liz and tells her mark is outside waiting for her.

Mom: Hey kiddo, wake up mark is waiting for you outside.

Liz: WHAT?

Liz: Im not even ready yet, i don't know what to wear and and an---

Mom: Don't worry i told him to give you five minutes to get ready.

Liz: *smiles and hugs mom*

Liz finally heads out and sees mark waiting for her in the car.

Liz: hey there..

*Mark mesmerised with how liz looks and just says that she's beautiful*

Mark: you look really beautiful liz, so are you ready?

Liz: yeah so where are we going?

Mark: that is for me to know and for you to find out * smiles and opens door for liz*

Liz: *laughs* alright lets go

I wonder whats he planning? is it gonna be big or something OH MY GOD what if his going too...?! no no no to young to young suddenly mark taps her and tells her to wear a blind fold.

Mark: liz we're almost at the venue but i need you to wear something for me.

Liz: what is it?

Mark: i need you to wear this blind fold.

Liz: okay..., put it on for me.

Mark outs the blind fold on liz and leads her to their venue.

Mark: just a few more steps and we're their, and here we are. I'll take off your blind fold now alright.

Once mark took off the blind fold liz was speechless, she saw all these pictures and fairy lights in this room and saw all these memories they shared and events they've been too and everything. She then walks to a space where theres pillows on the floor and a projector so they can watch a movie.

Liz: oh my god mark, what is this?

Mark: well we don't really do the normal couple stuff and i know how much you love film and photos and just treasuring every moment, so i came up with this event for our anniversary. Do you like it?

Liz: i love it! i don't know what to say at all.

Mark: how bout we watch a movie? i got your favorite movie.

Liz: WHAT?! NO!

Mark: yes i did, 50 first dates. So lets start the movie?

Liz: yeah lets start the movie.

So right in the middle of the movie it stopped and dipped to black and liz didnt know what was happening then suddenly a video started to play and she starts seeing random videos of her and mark with a voice over of mark saying all the things he could possibly tell her.

Mark: Elizabeth Williams, you have a smile that radiates so much joy and brightness. You carry a lot of burdens and weaknesses but you never let that get the best of you, you always manage to bring up a smile and every time you do, your eyes sparkle like the stars, you are very weird and just plain silly i always find myself dumbfound cause i just laugh at how silly and cute you look. I have discovered so much about you and you amaze me every day. Now as i look back at all these fun memories i cant seem to see my life without you in it, i love you liz and i hope i was able to put a smile on your face today because you put one on mine every day i feel like you came into my life to define who and what i am. I love you and happy 1st anniversary love!

*Mark leans over to look at liz and finds her in tears and just not knowing what to say so mark puts his arm around her and hugs her*

Mark: it seems like you liked it, yeah?

Liz: *sniffing* I really like it, thank you love! i really appreciate it.

*mark kisses liz on the forehead*

Mark: hey i want you to see something.

Liz: what??

*pulls liz into another room and in this room its filled will stars and all the plants in the galaxy*

Mark: i thought why not bring the stars and the whole galaxy to you for the day?

Liz: it's beautiful love, its everything i imagined it to be.

Mark: let's step out of the building for a bit liz.

*mark pulls liz and heads out of the building and they hear fireworks*

Liz: how come it looks like its spellings out something?

Mark: what does it say?

Liz: Elizabeth, will you be my?

Liz: love, it stopped there i don't know what else it---- * drops in tears and looks and mark*

*mark is holding up a sign saying..... *

Mark: will you be my star from above?

Liz: yes! i'll always be with you love no matter what!

Mark: i love you!!

Liz: love I know this isn't enough but I wanted to give you this jar full of the letters I have been writing to the stars.

Mark: love this is more than enough I love it, thank you. *kisses her head*

A few moments later mark took liz home and he headed home as well but as soon as he got home he just dropped on the bed and it was already 3am in the morning his sickness started to act up and someone from his building heard his fall on the bed and rushed to marks apartment to help him. Next thing liz knew she was called to go to the hospital.
