Sighing, I lay my pencil down and looked at my completed homework. 

"Finally!" I shouted as I leaned back into my chair. I straightened my (H/l) (H/c) and let out a puff of air. My window cracked open and there stood James with his little sister. 

"James!?" 

"Hehe Hey..." 

"Alli (Change it if ya want)?" The small girl in pink grinned at me, but her eyes were a noticeable dull. 

"What happened this time?" 

"..." 

"Him again wasn't it?" Alli nodded her head her brown locks dancing in front of her face.

"Come on let's go-" 

"No! Y/n you can't do that!" 

"Why not James. It's gotten so bad! Your father continues to beat you to a pulp!" 

"He's my stepfather!" 

"Same difference, it's turning into an awkward gay version of Cinderella!" 

"I like Cinderella. At least she has a savior..." 

"What am I, chopped liver...?" 

"You are what you eat."

"At least it's not dick!" 

"Dick..?" 

"Alli your too young.." James just stifled a laugh and ruffled the little girls hair.

"Besides, if the authorities get involved..."

"James believe me, I know, bad things will happen, but this shit's already happening period!" I was getting angry with not only myself but also James cause he wasn't listening to me.

"Y/n. Look the only reason you're the only one who knows is because I love you!" James was crying by now and Alli looked upset all because her brother was crying.

"Why is everyone crying?" Alli looked around, she had a lost puppy vibe.

"It's nothing Alli." I sighed and stroked the little girls hair back. Gently placing her on the bed, she drifted to sleep, "Look James we have to do something..."

"I know. I know, it's just I can't bear to see you go through it too, if he gets out." He cried into my shoulder, "I just love you too much to lose you Y/n."

"I know James. I love you too much as well, that's why we're getting help in the morning." James nodded and we both fell asleep on the floor, embraced in each others arms.
