Jen's POV
I just lost my best friend. She could be in jail for all I know. We were just mucking around, but when I saw the cops, I panicked. I made a run for it, leaving my best friend alone in the process. I kick my bedroom wall, extremely mad at myself. If there was only a way to get her out of this mess, a mess I started....

Jonah's POV
She should be arriving soon. All the guys are giddy, some of them are scared, a couple of guys make some dirty and crude remarks every now and then. A girl at this jail? Absolutely unheard of. I pace around my room, thinking of what this girl might be like. Will she be crazy? Scared? Wild? These days girls are so confusing, at least that's what I've heard, I wouldn't know as I haven't seen or socialised with a girl apart from my mum in four years. My brain is working in overdrive and I decide to stop thinking about it for the time being, or at least try to...

Stella's POV
Minutes turn into hours, hours turn into days, and days feels like forever. The drive to the Police Station is agonising like the world is throwing the fact that I just made the biggest mistake of my life in my face. Just when I start to think I will never get out this car, the heavy metal doors creak behind me. I am greeted by the menacing grin of the cop, who I recently learnt is named Sherriff Linkin. He helps me out of the car, and the Jail comes into view. I guess what I'm looking at is my new home, for god knows how long. My thoughts are interrupted when Linkin pushes me forward. "What are you waiting for?" He asks teasingly. For my best friend to save me from this situation and give me a legendary explanation as to why she ditched me. "I don't know," is what I say instead. So, after accepting what my future holds, I show myself inside the building that I may very well have no choice but to get used to.
As I do my walk of shame down the long hallway, I feel as though all eyes are on me, even though it's 2:00 am and it is totally isolated in here. As I make my way to where I'll stay until Linkin decides what to do with me, I take the time to inspect my surroundings. Time hasn't been good to this place, to say the least. The walls are stained a pale yellow, the metal bars of the empty cells are laced with rust and the air smells foul, like rotten compost. I guess not many people are placed in this jail. I wince as the scent fills my senses, calling it rank would be generous. "Come on, you'll get used to smell around here, trust me on that," Linkin says, snapping me out my thoughts and turning my attention not only to how tight his grip is on my wrists but to the room infront of me. It's just as rusty, if not more than all the other cells I've seen. "Ready to meet your new friends?" Linkin asks, a wide grin splayed across his face. "No," I whine. "Too bad," he says and without any warning, shoves me into the room.
A/N: Ooh! What will happen when Stella and Jonah cross paths? You excited as I am?? Thanks for all the reads, last time I checked it was 34! I've been on here two days! You guys are awesome!! Love you all xx
