We had taken an Uber back to my house. Zane walked behind me as we walked inside, shutting and locking the door for me. I turned on the lights, walking straight and to the right, entering my bedroom. I went to my dresser and grabbed a pair of black basketball shorts and a grey t-shirt. I tossed them to Zane who caught them, surprised. "Bathroom is right behind you. Get comfy."
He smiled. "Thank you, but I don't know if I'll fit into your clothes."
"They're a four-x from Walmart." I laughed. "Honey, you'll fit. I only buy thinks three times my size to sleep in anyway."
Zane laughed and walked to the bathroom. I waited until he closed the door to completely strip my clothes off. I grabbed my all-over grey onesie with a hood and the entire thing was made from jersey cotton material. I threw my hat onto my bed and tossed my hair up with a ponytail holder that was around my wrist. I put my hair into a messy bun before turning my bedroom light off and walking to my kitchen. I turned on my Keurig, grabbing two silver mugs from the white marble cabinets above it. I placed them on the matte black counter and went to the stainless steel refrigerator. I opened it up, grabbing the milk and butter from the door. I closed it and went back to the Keurig, brewing two cups of coffee. Zane came into the kitchen, standing next to me when I did it. "What the hell are you making?"
"Comfort coffee." I said, proudly, stirring in the milk and butter to each cup. "You make coffee. You add in some butter and some milk. Then..." I grabbed the sugar from a white marble jar on the counter, spooning in a few teaspoons. "You add some sugar and..." I went into the cabinet above me, getting the cinnamon. "Some cinnamon. Then..." I brought the milk and butter with me, putting it back into the refrigerator and grabbing my can of whipped cream. I went back over to the drinks, swirling a nice top onto the cups. I sprinkled cinnamon on top for good measure. Putting everything back to where it was, I picked up the mugs, handing one to Zane. "Taa-Dah!"
"You're awesome." Zane laughed, taking the drink from my hands.
We walked over to my living room and I turned off the light overhead in the kitchen. Zane sat on my couch and I placed my drink next to where he put his on the coffee table in front of him. I turned off all the lights in the apartment and got ready to flip on a switch that was next to my front doorway as I spoke. "Are you ready for the most cozy of cozy settings to have ever existed in the history of existence?"
"Is it vlog worthy?" Zane laughed.
"Honestly, yeah." I laughed. I could feel his smile in the room, though I couldn't see anything at all.
"Okay, so... Casey told me that this was about to be the most lit thing ever, but I have no idea what she's gonna show me." Zane laughed. "It's dark and I'm kind of scared what she's going to do to me."
"Okay, point it at where the T.V is." I laughed. "Are you ready?"
"Bring it on, baby." I felt my stomach flutter, though I knew it was a nickname he used for everyone.
I turned on the switch. Christmas lights were strung along my apartment's ceiling and a projector came down from the roof. My Xbox automatically turned on and I grabbed the controller from the top of the television stand. I looked at Zane's face as I walked over to the coffee table, moving it out. "You gotta get up for the finale, dude."
"This is so cool!" Zane popped up, pointing the camera towards my grey couch. I placed my coffee table to the far right of us, underneath the window that had my black shades covering it. I walked back over to the couch, hitting a button that was underneath the arm of the chair. Two layers automatically jumped out, forming a California King sized bed. Zane jumped back excitedly. "This is insane! What the hell?"
I smiled, going to the closet near my front door I took out two extremely large, thick, fuzzy blankets, throwing them over to the couch. I began to take out all of the pillows, setting them up as I explained why I got this couch to Zane. "So, I never actually use this with anyone... You're the first person that's seen what this couch can do." He laughed loudly. "But, like, I knew you would appreciate it as much as I do."
"I honestly feel honored." Zane said, putting an arm to his chest as he walked over to coffee table. He pointed the camera at the drinks, using his Bonifa voice. "And oh, bitch! Look at the shit my girl made me. How damn Pin-trust is she?"
"Bring the drinks over here, boo!" I yelled, laying down in the bed and getting under the covers. I went to Netflix as Zane put his camera away, tossing it beside the couch on the floor before handing me my drink carefully. I put it in between my legs as I sat Indian style trying to find what I was looking for. "Do you like Breaking Bad?"
Zane's eyes widened, smiling excitedly. "Bitch, put that on right now." He took a sip of the coffee, moaning immediately. I looked at him terrified until he explained himself. "Baby girl... This is the best damn coffee I ever had."
I laughed, rubbing his thigh lightly. "I'm glad you like it." I went back to the projector, taking a sip of my own coffee as I saw Zane blush again. I ignored it, continuing to speak. "After coffee though, I have some wine we can crack open like some rich, soccer moms."
Zane laughed, taking another sip of his drink. "I'm happy about this new friendship."
