"Nayeli! Wait!" Evan called out as I was leaving the park. I hesitate but stop and turn to him. He caught up to me a bit out of breath. He stood up straight looking into Nayeli's eyes.

"Will you go out with me?"

Nayeli stood there shocked by his random confession. Slowly her shock expression turned into an amused smirk.

"Sorry I don't date people who are shorter than me"

His face turned serious. "So if I grow taller than you like this," Evan stuck his hand above her head as high as he could," You'll go out with me right?".

"We'll see," She smirked as she turned away and walked off, "But first let's see if that can actually happen, shorty".

"So..." Corey started as Nayeli had turned the corner of the public restroom, "You said no right Nayeli?". The question was answered with only a simple nod as Nayeli continued to walk away from Corey. "That's good!" Corey replied happily watching Nayeli walk away towards her house. Evan walked towards Corey just as she turned and glared at him harshly, "Back off. She's mine, Evan".

"We'll see Corey" He replied with a just as harsh glare.

9 years later

Nayeli sat next to Jin-son in the middle of the class. Taking out a DS, Jin-son quickly started to play as Nayeli watched. After a while more students started to enter the class. Atticus showed up moments later joining the duo. They started to talk as they waited for Mr.Foggs to arrive. The main topic being that Nayeli was to harsh on some girl.

"I mean can you really blame me? The chick was just spouting utter stupidity" Nayeli shrugged looking at Atticus with disinterest. "I'm just saying you could have been nicer" Atticus said in a motherly tone as Jin-son chuckled. Just as Nayeli was going to defend herself, she was cut off by the teacher walking into the classroom.

Ignoring him, Nayeli didn't see two people walking in behind the teacher. Atticus tapped Nayeli making her look forward. They were both dressed in masculine clothing. She could tell one was a male yet the other had a feminine face structure. The male had black hair that made him look pale. She also noticed he was not very tall and bad quite a thin body, his clothes being slightly baggy on him. The other transfer student looked different. They had white fluffy looking hair that made Nayeli want to touch it. They also seemed to be thin due to the baggy sweater they wore.

'They kinda look familiar....but from where?'

"Class we have some new student, introduce yourself."

"I'm Evan Jamison-" "And I'm Corey Jamison."

'Ah......shit'
