The wolves strode onto the road unnoticed. They hadn't had food in days and they looked as helpless as a dying cat.
After the bombing, it had been hard to find a home and food. They had barely survived on one rabbit but if they didn't eat soon they were to die of starvation. World War II was not the best time to be alive for the wolves. No food and it seemed every time they found a place to stay, it was blown up two minutes later.
As they crossed the road they came face to face with a forest.
" What if there are other wolf packs in there then what's going to happen to snow?"
Blue looked down at her daughter snow would be an easy target to attack to other wolves she was so small and her white fur and crystal blue eyes would be easy to spot.
"Our little girl is so quick she would be able to run away in a flash, you don't have to get worried" Jackson explained
Snow's father is quite a lot different to her mother. Her mother is a greyish blue colour with brown eyes while her father had black fur and grey eyes. His name is Jackson and he likes things done his way and when they are not done his way well it can get messy. Blue, on the other hand, doesn't like to be in charge as she thinks she will get everyone into trouble. Snow is different to both her parents as well as being a different colour to them she is also very curious and adventurous. she is always finding herself in some sort of trouble. Snow is also very speedy and can run much faster than her parents even though they are a lot better than her at fighting.
As the wolves strode further into that darkness of the forest, fog surrounding them, they heard a rustle in the leaves.
"its probably just a bug or squirrel" Snow's father said. He looked a bit worried but he tried to hide it, everyone thought of him as strong and fearless and he didn't want them to think he was weak. Suddenly a wolf about three times her size pounced onto snow digging his claws into her back. Snow yelped in pain but the wolf showed no mercy just going deeper into her soft skin. Snow's father grabbed onto the wolf and pushed him off Snow.
"I knew this would happen, why did I let this happen?!" Jackson mumbled to himself fear to pierce his heart, were they going to hurt his family?! Jackson had no time to think as the wolf was suddenly on top of him. The wolf snapped at Jackson's snout but he was too quick. Jackson clawed the wolves eye and then jumped back reforming his battle position.
"Don't run snow you'll be safe with us." His parents said in unison. Her mother taking her and hugging her in her arms trying as best as she could to hide her eyes from the fight that was happening right in front of them. Jackson sped towards the wolf and snapped his jaws right on the other wolf's ear biting part of it off. He spat out the remaining her in his mouth and again jumped at the wolf scratching his face. Suddenly four other wolves jumped out of the bushes and it was too much to handle for Jackson he turned around at stared at his family one last time when the wolves pounced and soon he was lying there on the ground. Motionless. Snow jumped out of her mother's paws and stared her father. Lying on the ground. Tears rolled down her cheeks and Snow couldn't believe it. Her head couldn't get around that her father was dead. She would never hear his voice again. She would never see him again. She would feel his warm fur around her again.
Snow ran. She darted further into the forest, leaving her mother behind.
She dove further into the forest tears streaming down her face making her fur wet and damp. The cold night air sent shivers down her spine. Snow stopped at a hole in a tree she dove inside, this might be the only safe place to stay for the night and she could curl up and keep herself warm. She tried to dig at least a little bit into the ground and dug her face into her tail. Her white fur was already looking brown and the cold night air made it hard for her to fall asleep. She tried tossing and turning but it took her at least 3 hours until she fell asleep.
The sun pierced her eyes as Snow awoke the next morning she stretched and looked around for any dangerous animals that might attack her but it looks like the wolves had returned to where they had come from. Snow thought of returning to the place the wolves had killed her father but she couldn't bare the thought of returning there and seeing her mother dead as well. Which she probably is she wasn't any match for a pack of wolves. I should have stayed by her side and been there to help her fight even if I died as well.
