Harry slipped out early the next morning, not bothering to wake Louis, he knew that running would be the last thing he wanted to do. After Lottie had left the room, Jay had come upstairs and told them that he had until the end of the week to take all of his stuff. Louis didn't bother to protest but as soon as she left the room he was in Harry's arms sobbing. To make matters even worst on his behalf, Harry was going from Louis's room to the car packing in his stuff and on one of the last trips Steve had come home and said some words to Harry. He didn't tell Louis is happened, didn't want to upset Louis any further, but if he was being honest it frightened it and maybe telling Louis would be the best thing to do. Harry was contemplative though, and decided that if he was going to tell Louis he would do it another day. When they got home, Louis went straight to bed, Harry joined soon enough and when he did Louis had curled up into him, crying into his neck and Harry had just sat there telling him that he loves him and that it was all for the best. Louis needed to be loved and Harry wanted so desperately to show Louis that he was, but Louis wasn't letting him and that scared Harry the most.
When Harry got home, Louis was sat up in bed, staring at something in his hand, jumping slightly when he heard Harry enter the room.
'You didn't wake me up this morning?' Louis tucked whatever it was underneath his pillow, crawling across the bed to Harry.
'I didn't think you'd want to do it this morning, thought you could do with some sleep' Louis smiled appreciatively up at him, soon joining him to walk to the bathroom. 'What were you looking at?'
'When?'
'Just then, that you put under your pillow'
'I was reading' Harry frowned at Louis. He knew full well what the book that Louis owned looked like and it looked nothing like that. He just stayed silent, not wanting to push Louis any further and got in the shower behind him. 'This is my favourite part of the day' Harry smiled as Louis turned around to face him.
'Why's that?'
'Just being with you and not having to think about what's beyond this room, like it's just us' Louis pressed his head against Harry's chest, looking down at their bodies. He ran his finger across Harry's hip bone to where a few scars were scattered, and traced the small marks. 'You don't freak any more'
'I trust you' Harry shrugged, wrapping his arms around Louis and placing a kiss to the back of his head.
'I really love your scars'
'I really love you' Louis scoffed, didn't mean to do it, so he stayed quiet and continued to trace Harry's body, feeling Harry tense now though. 'What?'
'I didn't mean to do it'
'But you did, so what?' Louis was crying again, he hated crying more then anything, he wasn't this fucking weak, but he was tired, and he didn't know any other way to cope with it. He turned around to wash his face, standing still and letting the water relax him, feeling Harry step close to him and wrap his arms around his waist, peppering kisses along his shoulder. 'I love you'
'I love you too Hazz'
'So what's going on?'
'How can you sit here and tell me you love me?' Harry froze from behind him, there was no way that he was expecting Louis to say that.
