Shadow hadn't teleported from Silver's side. So Silver gave Shadow back a kiss on the cheek, showing his choice.
Shadow blushed. He touched the cheek that Silver had kissed, and for the first time in a long time, he smiled.
The whole group was surprised.
"Wow, Silver! You made him smile!" Sonic said surprised. He was incredibly disappointed that Silver didn't return his feelings, but if he could make someone like Shadow happy, he figured it was meant to be.
"Dang. That's gotta sting, bro." Manic said to his brother.
Sonic just shrugged.
"Don't you worry, Sonic! You still have me to chase you!" Amy said, hugging her beloved hero.
"Same old, Same old." Knuckles said chuckling.
Shadow was hugging Silver as Silver giggled. Amy just might catch Sonic's heart one day.
