Philip is sitting on the bed with Charlie, both typing away at their english papers.

"Ugh Philip I don't want to write it. Why does she hate us?" Philip shrugs, and types away not looking away from the laptop. His walls have more pictures. Some artsy ones he look of plants and the countryside. Also some model pictures he took of Charlie. He has a box of pictures he took of Lukas but they're hidden under his bed.

"Philip, can we take a break?" He sighs.

"It's due in two days. I can't write it tomorrow I'm going to film Lukas." She laughs.

"Awwww, little Philly is going to see his boyfriend tomorrow!" He blushes and throws a pillow at her.

"Shut up!" She lays her head on his lap.
"So, how's that going." Philip blushes and smiles.

"I mean, he hasn't told me that he hates me. I don't think he likes me though."

"Philip, you notice nothing do you? Do you see the way he looks at you? For God sakes yesterday when you were waving goodbye to me, he grabbed your arms and put them around him."

"Hey, dirt bikes are dangerous."
"Uh huh, sure. That's it. He was just worried about you falling off his dirt bike. He wasn't jealous of us spending time together or that he just wanted your arms around him." Philip blushes, and plays with her hair. "He looks at your lips. Have you noticed that?" He shakes his head.

"You're reading too much into things Charlie. He, no. If he wanted to kiss me, he would've already done it. Besides he has a girlfriend."

He frowns and looks down at her, playing with her hair.
"I'm friends with Rose. He spends more time with you. Besides, he hasn't even kissed her yet. They've been together for a year and he hasn't even kissed her yet. Sounds like a deeply repressed gay guy to me."

"Should I go for it?"

"Of course you should." He nods and braids her hair for a while. She talks his ear off about some girl she likes. "And she was like, yeah I'd make out with you but only if..." He zones out and just nods. "She said that she's bi but like she doesn't get turned on by guys. Maybe she's just afraid that she's really gay." He sighs and pretends to listen. "And I was like, look you can't kiss me and then say you don't swing that way. She was like, yes I can and I was like fine. I kissed her and she like pulls my hair and." sHe looks down at her phone and notices she has a text from her dad. "I've got to go, I'll see you tomorrow homo!" He shoves her softly.

"See you later lesbo." She kisses his cheek and leaves, saying bye to Helen and Gabe on her way out. Gabe walks up to his room and quietly knocks on the door. "Come in." Gabe sits down at the foot of his bed.

"She's sweet. So are you guys like a couple?" Philip laughs hysterically, and holds his stomach. He wipes some tears from his eyes and shakes his head.

"Gabe, she's a lesbian." Gabe chuckles and gets up, patting Philip's leg.

"Man, ok. Well I came in here to be nosy. I mean you guys have been hanging out a lot. I just thought that you might, I don't know." Philip smiles.

"It's ok. No we're just friends." Helen walks in and smiles. Gabe reaches in his pocket and grabs out a twenty. "Wait you guys were betting on this?" They both nod and Philip laughs almost as hard as before. He calms down a little and takes a deep breath.
"I umm actually. I'm gay." Gabe looks over at Helen who sighs and gives him back the twenty.
"Wait what?" Helen sits down next to Philip and places her hand on his knee.

"Listen Philip, Gabe said that you're dating Charlie. I said twenty bucks he's not. Then I said, he's probably dating another girl. Gabe said that if you weren't dating Charlie that you must be gay. I said twenty bucks says you're wrong." They all laugh pretty hard.
