Recovering with Him

It takes a turn

Philip wakes up the sound of Helen's voice.

"Come on sweetie time to get up." He smiles and rises out of bed. "Goodmorning"

"Goodmorning." He grabs his clothes and heads off to the shower. He hums to a song he fell alseep listening to last night, carefully washing his body. He steps out and brushes his teeth, then coats himself with moisturizer. He looks in the cabinet and finds Cologne and gently sprays it on his neck. He runs a slight pit of hair gel in his hair and hops down stairs.

"Good morning Philip." Gabe says, taking a sip of coffee. Philip smiles.

"Good morning." He sits down next to Gabe and bites down on an apple. Helen sits down, setting a plate of eggs on the table.

"Any big plans for the day?" Helen asks, filling her plate. Philips shakes his head. They eat in comfortable silence until they're finished eating.Gabe gets up and puts the dishes in the sink. "Do you need a ride?" Philip gets up and grabs his bag.

"No I'm going to ride my bike thanks though. Have a good day guys."

"Have a good day Philip!" They both say in unison as Philip rides off towards the school. When he gets there, he parks his bike and runs up to Charlie.

"Hey lover boy." He blushes and shoves her.

"I have some big news to tell you." She smiles and chuckles.

"You boned him didn't you?" He blushes but nods slowly. They walk towards their first period, Philip smiling at the ground. "What?!?! Philly...." Philip giggles.

"He kissed me." As he says that he blushes and giggles more. She puts her arm around him, laughing.

"Ok now you have to tell me everything." He smiles and whispers everything. The motocross trick, Lukas kissing him, them laying against a tree together. She smiles and shakes his shoulders.

"You guys sound so cute!" She says loudly as they walk into the classroom. They sit down and Philip spots Lukas standing with his friends on the opposite side of the room. Philip waves, smiles. Lukas raises his head in vague recognition. Class drones on, Lukas sneaks looks at Philip. His heart flutters when he sees him but, tries to conceal. His cheeks turn pink when he looks at his lips. He then covers his face with his hand. Philip looks at him and shakes his head. The bell rings, and Philip gets up and walk over to Lukas.

"Hey Philip we have to talk." Philip nods his head and they walk together through the crowed hallway. They look forward, avoiding eye contact.

"I get it. You're still dating rose and  you're not out." Philip lowers his voice. Lukas sighs in exasperation.

"No Philip, it's not like that. Well it is, it's just that, I don't want people to he suspicious." Philip nods his head.

"Well, you have to just treat me like an acquaintance. You can't take me on the bike in front of people. And you've got to stop blushes when you look me." Lukas giggles and nods. "And if that doesn't work, just, be an asshole to me." Lukas looks at him wide eyed.

"I-I-I don't want to do that." Philip shakes his head.

"I don't want you to come out before you're ready. I also don't want you to have to go through what I did." Lukas slowly nods his head and they walk into chemistry.

The rest of the day went along normally. The bell rang for the end of the day and Philip met Lukas where they normally met. Away from the school, next to the tree. Lukas pulls him into a tight hug. Philip blushes and hugs him back. Lukas pulls back and stares at Philips lips. He grabs the sides of his face and kisses his lips. Philip kisses back, putting his arms around his neck. Lukas wraps his arms around his waist and pulls him closer. They pull away and look at eachother, blushing.

"H-h-hey Philip." Philip laughs.

"Hey to you too." Behind them, away from their sight is Derek, one of Lukas's friends, recording everything from his phone.
