A/N: Hm, honestly I don't like Pokemon GO too much, as I don't think it captures what a Pokemon game really is like. But I have to say, the community has done an amazing job at building up the amazing characters known as Blanche, Spark and Candela. Honestly, I do think Blanche would suit being a girl, but I have heard they haven't got a specified gender ? Correct me if I'm wrong.

In this book, I'll refer to Blanche as a she/her, so please don't complain if you dislike it.

I'm honestly not too sure on whether I ship spark/Blanche, spark/candela or candela/Blanche more, but this is the first thing that came into my head, so enjoy please !

Candela want off to a training expedition with some of the strongest valor trainers out there. It was a rather admirable thing to think of, thought Blanche, but she couldn't have just stolen the idea from Candela. They were rivals, but friends all the same.

This left her and Spark alone, for a week or so, and Blanche was not comfortable with such a situation in the slightest. Crushes were too childish for Blanche, she'd much rather sit and read books about evolution than think of such things, but the thought of the taller male, cheerful and care-free, a brilliant worker under pressure, blue-sparkling eyes she could simply get lost in..

" A-Ah ! " She gasped slightly as she bumped into something. She had a habit of walking around the house with her head buried in a book, as she had the house mapped into her brain, but she couldn't avoid things that would place themselves into the pathways. However, all she heard was a cheerful chuckle, and a,

" Oh, hello there, Blanche ! " She looked up, book covering her cheeks, which were painted red.

" G-Good morning..." she stammered, pushing herself off of him.

Spark tilted his head, thinking. " Hey, isnt it, like, one PM now? " He asked, raising an eyebrow. She looked towards the clock and nodded briefly, pulling the book from her face, shaking off the embarrassment and sighing.

" Yes. Good afternoon, I apologise. " She said. Spark looked at her for a moment. They had known each other for so, so long, yet she was so formal. He laughed a bit and scratched the back of his head.

" Oh yeah, no problem, Blanche. Hey, I was thinking though ? " He began, as she looked at him curiously. " Candela is technically having some time off, since it's not too difficult training people who are already good. I think we should lay back for a bit, you know? " he said.

That didn't make any sense to her at all. How was reading books, directing trainers, and learning not relaxing ?
" I don't see what would make you think that, that is a good idea. " She said simply. He grinned at her.

A pathetic reason. But an effective one. " My instincts tell me ! " He said.

Definitely an effective one, because at this very moment, the two of them were at the beach. They had spent the whole day there, but Blanche didn't mind too much. Spark knew she didn't enjoy partying, but bringing her to the ocean was such a thoughtful process, it touched her. It really did.

She didn't like socialising with lots of people. She knew that he found it difficult to deal with the competition between teams, but what did he do? He brought her to the ocean, where the majority of gyms ruling were mystic gyms. He got constant weird looks, but he was so care-free that he constantly over looked them.

Blanche stared at him for a long while, as they sat on this rock, half on shore half on sea, as the sun set in front of them. He had his eyes closed, wet hair sticking to his forehead as he leaned backwards. She had her knees pulled up to her chest, tiredly resting her head on them, her head turned to look at him.

Her body welled up with such a warm, nice feeling of admiration and fuzziness. She couldn't describe it. She suddenly wanted to smile a bit more. She suddenly wanted to move and take his hand, but she didn't. She couldn't bring herself to do what she wanted but what mattered was the fact that she wanted it. This was something she never wanted before.

So she simply looked forward, untying her hair, throwing the hairband into the ocean. It caught sparks attention slightly, and he opened an eye to peer at her, pausing.

His cheeks flushed. Her hair fell down at her sides almost, it curled because it was wet, and the volume of it was perfect. It shimmered against the little light they had left, and as his eyes drifted towards her expression, he noticed her lips had graced themselves with a little smile.

" Thank you, " she began. " I'll relax more often, Spark. " She said. He smiled sweetly towards her and scooted over, placing his hand over hers.

" Okay. " He said. She blinked, face some what red as she looked over at him, then his hand. She hesitated before laughing a bit.

" Yes, I really should relax a bit more. As long as it's with you, I'll be fine to relax. " She said, and he laughed himself.

After that, they simply sat there, close to each other, watching as the day ended.
