Lake's pov
Where am I? I looked around and saw that I was on the floor near to a group of people who, from what i could hear, were having a ball. I looked over and saw my beloved laughing along with the rest of her gang and that Steven guy. Seems like all of the mutt's friends fainted. Well not him but by the little sway in his form I could tell he could have. I was about to get up and attack him but then I came to my regular senses and heard one of the most beautiful sounds. Saphire laughing.
Her voice makes me want to shiver every time my name leaves her gorgeous lips. I want her to be mine but she keeps running away from me. Now, through my attempts to keep her as mine, have driven her to Steven. Gr! I was trying to scare her. He Is a werewolf and I am a vampire. She has gotten used to me over the years. I thought she would be disgusted by the thought of a werewolf as her mate from what I told her about werewolves. Most of it wasn't the total truth but if she were to be mine I couldn't have her hanging around the mangy creatures, for we are and always will be, mortal enemies.
I need to get out of here. The stench is killing me and the fact that my beloved is talking to another male bothers me so freaking much I might just kill him. Wait, I have better idea. Maybe I will just wait until the time is right. Then I can attack and get my revenge against the low lives who think that just because their pathetic alpha is mated to my love that they can keep her. Let me just think about this more.
Okay, I have the perfect plan. Let me just get it set. I used my super speed to get out of that wretched house. Now let me just get everything ready. This will be epic. I will get you back, my dear, and you will be mine forever. That is a promise.
Stewie's pov
I just saw the one of the most horrific scenes that a teenager could only imagine. Steven's mom was twerking. Cue the violent shivers. She was actually pretty okay with it but when I heard Jake's laugh I fainted. He is so perfect but I can see how he looks at Saphire. He is in love with her. Tears threatened to fall as I quickly ran out of the living room and back to my room where I was previously sitting on my bed thinking about my future with Jake. Like that could actually happen. Sigh. Why can't I have normal life where I was into girls and not mated to someone who would never feel the same way about me as I feel about him?
I heard a knock on the door and then I realized that I was crying. I walked over to my door and opened it only to be faced with Saphire. She gave me a small smile to which I gave her a fake one in return. I knew she could tell though because of the way her body tensed a bit and she sighed.
"Hey Saphire. What do you need?" I asked trying to keep the sadness out of my voice but it didn't work very well.
"I know that you like Jake." She said bluntly. I looked at her in shock. How the hell did she know?
"And I know that he likes me. I am very sorry for that but you have to talk to him. Once he knows that he has a mate ,he will have to except it and I see the way he sneaks glances at you every now and again. He just doesn't know why he is attracted to you. Tell him now before you loose him." She said with a sad smile as she walked out of my room leaving me shocked, sad, confused and a little happy. He looks at me? I really need to talk to him. But what do I say?
