I stand on the beach as the wind whips the tendrils of my long fur brown hair around my face. As I stand and face my family I feel a grip on my foot. Suddenly I am no longer on my feet and my view is of the sand.
Spinning around I claw unsuccessfully at the hand of the demon holding my foot. Glancing up at my family I see my son holding my daughter as she sobs looking at my husband franticly run towards me . I reach out to my husband as I'm dragged closer and closer to where the water meets the sand, where I know it drops off because of the underwater cliffs.
I reach for my husband's hand and just as our hands touch I am dragged under the water, my hair spinning around me almost creating the affect of tunnel vision. As I slowly slip into the darkness of the waters I start to loose consciousness and the last thing I see as my vision fades is my sobbing daughter above me.

I sit up screaming with a Alec and Dante next to me.
"Holy shit what the hell happened Raven!" Alec asks me as I shove him away.
You'll never understand!" I scream just before I am grabbed by two other Nightwatchers. Putting up a fight they still manage to inject me with the drugs. "You'll never understand." I shout again.
Falling against against the wall I manage to whisper "Never."
