Alec is keeping me in the cell they have in the basement because in refuse to tell him what happened, and I absolutely hate it. All I want to do is go back to my old house and stay there. I'm sitting still in the corner and its confusing them as to why I'm not kicking and screaming, they don't know I've been diagnosed as bipolar and have depression, and anxiety.I walk around the small room and feel the coolness of the concrete, I inhale the musty air, and then I stop and stand in the middle of the room. I sit down Indian style in the middle of the room and put my hands on the floor next to my knees. I look at my hands and concentrate until I see a blue glow under them then I close my eyes and feel the faint connection to the nature that lies under the foot of concrete I'm sitting on.
I don't hear the opening of the door or Alec's footsteps walking towards me but I do hear when he speaks.
"Raven?", he says
I gasp and look up, "What do you want Alec,"
He sighs and sits down next to me, glancing at my palms, "Please just show us the true extent of
your powers.
I sigh and decide to show him what
I can do. I take a deep breath and see if I can do what I think I can, I feel a ripple along my shoulders and I smile at knowing I can still do it. "Okay," I say "follow me." I walk out onto the rooftop and look at him. "You ready?" I ask.
"As ready as ever," he replies.
I smile and look at him, then I take off running for the edge. "Hey!" he yells "Hey! Stop!"
I run off the edge and laugh. From where I'm falling I can see him look down at me and I snap open my wings.
He looks at me puzzled. As I rise up to where he is he questions me, "How did you do that? What are you? Where did you come from? Why are you here?"
"Stop with the questions," I say, "Ill answer them all later but you cannot keep me cooped up in a cell."
"Fine," he says, "no more cell and you answer my questions."
We sit down and my wings fade away, leaving him staring at them in wonder. "Okay," I say, "shoot."
"How did you do that?"
"I honestly have no idea," I say, "I've just always known how."
He starts on the next question.
"What are you?"
"I'm pretty sure I'm a combination of everything," I sigh and look up "I'm the most powerful being in the universe, I'm a demi god, witch, wizard, warlock, you name it I'm it."
"Are there other worlds out there?"
"Yes, but not exactly. All of the stories you hear, are true. Harry Potter, The Secret Circle, The Maze Runner, The Hunger Games, every story out there is true. They just all exist in different dimensions, blissfully unaware of each other. There is a 'normal' world we call Defalte, which means default. In fact there is probably someone out there writing about the both of us right now, but we don't know because we are not in Defalte." I sigh and get up, "I think that's enough for today." and for the first time in a long time, I genuinely smile.
