Raven POV
I stood on the balcony on Sunset Beach as a breathed in the fresh salty air, the wind tossing my hair into my face.
"Hey Raven." I stiffened as Alec put his hand on my shoulder. "Shouldn't you be training?" he questioned.
"I should be." I replied in a monotone voice, "But I don't want to."
"Raven go train." He said sternly.
"Fine." I muttered and took off into the house. As I slowly took each step down the stairs I thought about the news they had given me six months ago. They told me I would be moving to a house on the beach, with full armed guards of course. This has been driving me crazy nutso because I'm training long hours, unable to go outside, and I'm almost always flanked by guards.
Throwing open the door to the training room I stomp over to my annoying instructor and look at him. "Ah Raven so nice for you to finally join me."
"Yeah you know I would've stayed out longer but uptight Alec just had to ruin my fun."
"Raven be more respectful!" He snapped back.
"Respectful my ass." I mumbled under my breath.
"Well lets see how strong you are." He cockily remarked, motioning to the dummy on the other side of the room.
Striding to the other side of the room I take in a deep breath and zero in on the dummy, my eyes glowing a bright piercing blue. Bracing myself I lift my right foot and swing my body around and when my foot hits the dummy's head a sickening crack resounds in the room as the dummy's head is taken off and flies across the room. Shooting across the room the dummy's head bounces off the wall and fires at me. Straight into my awaiting hands.
"We're done here." I said sadly as I walked off, chucking the head to the side.
Walking into my room I looked around and sighed, the nightmare I had of my mom keeps happening over and over. Honestly it been taking a toll on me. I sat on my comfortable bed and just wished I could go back to what I had been doing before, running from the agency.
Hearing a voice whisper from across the room I look at where it came from. I see a man standing there, jumping to my feet and scream. Men come into my room, among them Alec, and I pick up the lamp next to me and hurl it at the man, it goes through him.
"You're not real!" I scream, "Help me!" with those final words I start sobbing as I am grabbed by a worried Alec.
