I woke up to my dad shaking me." Naya wake up I have to tell you something." I opened my eyes and looked out the window it was still rainy and dull just great. I turned to my dad He looked guilty. " what is it." I said in a groggy voice. " I have to go out of town for a week I'm sorry." He said with a sigh. " it's ok dad I have my friends to hang out with." I told him not mad.

" ok but there's plenty of food in the refrigerator if you get hungry ok and you know my number in case of emergency." I nodded my head he hugged me and kissed my forehead and left. I got up out of bed and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and I went to my room and got dressed I kept my hair down and brushed through it.

once I was done I ate breakfast and left. I arrived at the Curtis house and I saw sodapop and Steve arm wrestling Steve was winning. Ponyboy was reading a book. two-bit was watching Mickey mouse, Darry was I the kitchen and Dally well I didn't know where he, was and Johnny was sitting down on the couch. " Hey Naya!!" Two-bit shouted at me. " two you don't shouted at me, use your inside voice." I fussed at him. " I don't have an inside voice Naya." He then laughed and cocked his eyebrow.

I shook my head at him and sat down with Johnny. I smiled at and he smiled back. " my dad is going to be out of town for the week for this job thing." I told him. " well one of the soc's attack somebody last night and the cops didn't know who did it. so there investigating to find the person." He looked pissed. " I know it was  Bob and his friends who did it." He fussed I rubbed his back to calm him down.

" don't worry they will get what's coming to them sooner or later." I told him, he, smiled. " I win, You lose!!." Steve screamed at soda. Soda looked down pissed. " but you cheated." Soda wined. " I did not you are lying." Steve fussed at him. They gave each other death glares and they started wrestling each other. " would you too stop it. I'm trying to read my book in peace!!" Pony yelled, At them they stoped and got up from the floor. Me and johnny looked at each other and laughed are butts off.

once we got done laughing Dally slammed the door open making me jump. " alright there's a thunder storm coming and it's the perfect to go play some baseball!" Dally yelled at us. " Naya do you won't to play with us." Dally asked me in a much softer voice. I though for a minute playing baseball with strong fast vampire's what could go wrong.

I decided I would play. "ok everybody outside before I skin y'all ." Dally yelled. We then drove to this huge open field with woods around the perimeter. it looked like the perfect place to play it. we started to pick teams. I went up to Johnny as I looked up at the sky it was getting really dark." Why do y'all only play baseball when a thunderstorm is coming?" I questioned him. But he just told me to wait and see. " ok I'll have Johnny, ponyboy and Steve." Dally told us.

Ok so I have to play on opposites team that my boyfriend is on great I told myself. " ok I guess I'll have Two-bit, Soda Naya," Darry yell out. We went to are teams and got into position. Pony throw the ball as soda hit it with the bat at the exact time the thunder roared. I looked at Darry in shock. " okay I see why you need the thunder, it's got to be a home run right?" I question him, He just laughed and shook his head. " no Johnnys very fast." And in a spilt second Soda was back but the ball was quicker it came flying to me, as I caught it with my glove at full power yep there was going to be a bruise there I thought.

I was there umpire, So i called him out. We soon kept switching off playing on different sides until it was are turn again. Darry hit the ball and went off running. I looked over at Johnny and dally they were both running to the ball to go Catch it. They flew up into the air them colliding at the same time as lighting did.

They fell back to the ground laughing there butts off. We then got back into position and started playing again. the game went on for a couple of hours until I see ponyboy stop right in the middle of the field he looked at me and had fear in his eyes he then yelled stop Everybody else stop and came up to him.
" Ponyboy what's the matter!" Soda asked in a concerned voice. " they're coming." He said with fright. " who's coming." I ask all curious.

I looked at Johnny his eyes were big but turning black and his hands were shaking a little. He, came up to me." Here put this hat on." He gave me a black and white striped baseball cap and I quickly pulled it." yeah like that will help I can smell her from across the field." Steve told us but Johnny ignored him and told me to get behind him and stay quite. I did as I was told and got behind him and stayed quite.

He, grabbed my hand gently and squeezed it.
" should we leave." Two-bit asked. " no their already here." Ponyboy told him, all of a sudden I see three soc's appear from the fog covered woods. They came up to us and introduced themselves. The one with the curly brown hair spoke up. " I'm Randy and this is Bob and cherry we were just passing through if you don't mind." He said with on emotion in his face. " no we don't mind." Soda said to him.

The one named Bob kept eyeing me and I got nervous. Johnny must have sensed it and gave him, the death glare and squeezed my hand tighter. The girl spoke up. " you guys playing baseball mind if we join?" We all looked at each other I know Johnny didn't want them to play but he, couldn't do nothing about it. " sure a few of us were just leaving you can take there place." Darry told them.

He threw the ball to cherry. " I'm the one with the wicked curve ball." She smirked and Pony spoke up. " I think we can handle that." She just rolled her eyes. " we Shall see." Cherry whispered lightly enough for us to hear, And threw the ball back to Darry Just as me and Johnny were about to leave a gust of wind came by blowing my hair in my face.

Bob looked up smelling the air and smiled.
" you guys brought a snack." He grinned and tried to lunge at me. But Johnny held me close to him, and started growling and rest of the gang got in front of us. " the girl is with us and I think it's best if you guys leave." Soda said with a serious, stern tone. " ok i see the game is over we'll go now." Randy said to us, he grabbed Bob and cheery and left.

" Come on we have to go right know." Johnny told me. " why?" I questioned him, getting Nervous. " Because he's after you now and I've made this his most exciting game for him ever, I'm sorry I shouldn't have brought you here." my eyes went wide and my anxiety started to kick in." what are we going to do!" I asked him scared out if my mind. 

" find him and kill him he won't stop looking for you until you're dead." He, told me. We got in the car and started to drive to the Curtis place to figure out a plan. I thought things couldn't get worse enough, I was surely wrong.
