"Yes," she awkwardly says and Jaehyun turns to look at me,

"it's my birth name." She continues.

I raised a brow,

"Why the freak would someone name their child that?" I let off a chuckle.

Jaehyun's jaw drops 17373839947 meters to the ground and she is frozen like 17373839947 degrees Celsius.

See what I did there?

"Dude." I watched her amused, was she really about to get angry?

"Taeyong, do you think you're really funny?"

"Well, I haven't really told a joke quite yet-"

"Well, why don't you learn some manners? Don't you know you're verbally abusing me?"

She raises her voice and the lunch room is dead silent,

it would really be bad to fart right now.

I snicker,

"Yah hyung, quit playing around." Jaehyun softly whisper.

"No, I won't, because not unless scary ole' Jack o'lantern wants to annoy me, let her."

She fiddled her fingers nervously, and I can hear her breathing gets uneven, I smirk.

Got the fish right on its tail.

"D-Do you know how much your words affected me as a child?"

Oi that stutter, she's ready to lose.

"H-How much I j-just wanted to be normal, but I was apparently too f-fat?" She spat at me.

I finally examined her face from the moment she said fat so venomously.

"How I had ugly hair, how I can't count fast enough, and here I am, you make fun of my name and my voice." She regains her confidence.

"Mouth shut, huh?" She clicks her tongue , but suddenly makes a frustrated face when her eyes gave up.

"You're pathetic." She says to me, "I hate you." She stands there, as if she's waiting for a response.

Wait. Does she want a good one or a bad one?

"Sorry." I said monotonously, "That's what you want to hear, right?"

She scoffed, "I don't want to hear easy words from you. You act like a sorry butt." She walked off and everyone instigated.

I laughed it off and looked at my friend who gave me a look that made me want to take back what I said, and when I looked around me, the girls glanced with anger or gossiped.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm going to follow this Hobak girl and actually let her explain herself.

"Yah," she kept walking, "I know you heard me." I tap her arm.

"Don't touch me, what's next? You want to tell me to chop off my arm?"

I stood in disbelief, "Why do you make me sound like such a bad guy?"

She whined and pulled her hair aggressively.

"Don't do that-" I attempted on telling her.

"Taeyong! Did you knock your head with a coconut? Do you not remember middle school?" She frustratedly looks at me.

"If you don't want to remember, then just leave me alone, I can't deal with any more stress in my life, please."

"I promise, I'm not a bad person." I quietly say,

am I really not? I don't recall getting hit by a coconut.

"I want to believe you," she looks down and gives an exasperated sigh, "but?" She questions to herself.

The bell rung and she turned around and went to her class and I went to mine.

Hobak there has to be a misunderstanding..

I shouldn't fool myself.

I know what I did to her.

I don't know how to take it back.

"Hey Taeyong," a voice smoothly says, one of my favorite voice. "why ya standing there? We have to get to class." I simply smile because Hobak is irrelevant; she came out of the blue.

"Siyeon, how do girls feel when they are called fat in .. I don't know.. maybe... seventh grade or something?"

"Horrible, what kind of question is that?" She walked inside the classroom first and I sat by her and asked another question.

"Would the girl perhaps forgive the guy?"
I slip in, why am I being so weird? Come on..

"Yah, why are you being so weird oppa?" She teases.

"Please, that's what I'm saying." I cover my face and lean back on my chair.

"I would forgive you, it's just a silly joke oppa." Siyeon giggles and focuses on our lecture after the laugh.
