Hobak got home only to meet her father fast asleep on the sofa.

She sighed at the pitiful sight, "Dad?" his snores were the only thing responding.

"Dad!" Hobak's father startled awake, "Hungry? Are you hungry?" He stood up, "No dad, I'm just tired." She smiled softly and helped him go up the stairs.

"I told you not to stay out so late, I get so worried." Her father says tiredly.

"Sorry," she whispers inaudibly, "but dad, I'm in college."

"You're my little girl, remember?" He smiles as he stares at his daughter, that's grown, but his eyes were frozen in time apparently.

"Honey, don't forget daddy loves you, okay?" He sniffles and Hobak's heart tugs, "I love you too, goodnight."

Why does dad still get emotional?

"Hey." Her dad froze before closing his door, "No boyfriend till you get your bachelor's degree, goodnight." He closed the door.

Hobak sighed disapprovingly to her father's actions.

"I told you, I'm focusing in school of course."

Hobak shuffled around her bed and wondered if she had any plans today. "Hobakie! Wake up! I made you breakfast!" Her father yelled downstairs. "Okay! Coming in a little!"

Awkwardly, Hobak threw her phone when she heard her dad yell again, "Breakfast is going to get cold!" "Alright, I'm coming!" She responded while racing down the stairs.

"What were you doing?" He holds his spatula in the air, "Waking up." She pops her mouth with a sausage. "So, what did you do last night?" He pops his question.

"I went out with my friends." Hobak answers modestly, "You're such a good girl, I love you Hobakie." He grins and flips the pancake.

"Daddy, why are you making such a big breakfast?" She stares at the table filled with:
Eggs, bacon, sausages, soup, noodles, and upcoming pancakes.
