Ian
My favorite part of the sky has always been the stars. I have always been called foolish for looking at stars since all they are is balls of gas. That did not matter to me, they were beautiful balls of gas.
I found myself wishing I could reach out and touch one, but I knew that would not end in the best way. So I sat in front of the glass and watched the stars.
A tingle rushed up my back. It was suddenly growing much colder. I got up and put on a coat (or would it be considered a sweater? I always confuse to two) to soothe my cold body. It did not help much.
A loud beeping erupted out of almost nowhere. I rushed to check what it was only to be knocked to the floor from a crash.
More crashes followed and the beeping did not stop. I was trapped where I fell on the floor. Things started to fall around me. Another crash brought an object down right above me. I am not sure what the object was but I do know it hurt a lot.
I saw the stars. There were many stars. Then the stars left and I was left in the dark.
