The castle was blowing up like crazy. There were explosions everywhere. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a wegle shoot out of one of the castles windows. I see a flash of gray and blue fur dropping down towards the ground. I signal to Garnog to follow me. Then I flap my powerful wings and launch my self into the air. I fly to the wegle that was trying to escape. I bite the scruff of the wegles neck, and heave him into the air. But he is too heavy. "Garnog, a little help?" I ask. He quickly flys over and grabs on to the wegles tail and we pull him to the air. We bring him back to our camp, by the woods, at the stream, and lock him up in our stick dungeon, guarded by many wegles.
He wakes up a few hours later, and starts coughing like a maniac. I can tell his lungs were filled with smoke. I need to ask him a few questions. I walk over to him. "I am going to be asking you a few questions, k?" He looks up warily, and nods. "What was your mothers n..." That is when I see his muzzle. It is awkwardly long and pointed. I gasp, because I just realized it looks a lot like mine. I tell the guards "keep him in there, and whatever you do, don't let him escape." Then I stalk off to my den. I curl up in a ball. How...? What...? I am so confused. Is he my brother? No, he can't be! Because his wings would be the same as mine, all feathery, but his are.... normal bat like wings. I sigh. To be brother and sister you have to have the same wings. Oh well it was worth a try. I wonder if he has a power like me? well... Probably not. I sigh and settle down for a nice warm-season sleep. The cold-season is coming. Better enjoy the heat while I can.
