Part 3

          When I woke  it was almost sunset. I yawn and blink my sleepy eyes.  It's getting colder.  I walk to Garnog and tell him to start a fire. He is mostly dragon, so he can breathe fire. He walks to the pit and places some logs on. Then he lights it up. I smile. "Give the prisoner some fire, too, please Garnog" I say. He dips his head then heads over to the dungeon. I hear him talk to the prisoner "We will give you fire, so, try not to die." I chuckle slightly. Garnog gives him fire and then leaves. When he comes to me I say "Try not to talk to the prisoners, k?" He blushes and nods his head. I walk over to the pit. The warm fire is nice, and I realize with the cold-season coming, we will need more fire. I sigh. Tomorrow we will have to gather wood and store it in the nursery. Let's hope no one has pups in the cold-season. That's when I realize I don't know the prisoners name. I fly over to the prisoner, just so it doesn't take so long. I try not to look at his muzzle but apparently my eyes have a mind of their own. They kept flashing over to his muzzle. I saw him staring at me.  I looked into his eyes and he stared back. "Mhmm" one of the guards cleared his throat. I shake my head and feel my checks redden. "Er... so, uh, ur name?" I say quickly.  "Oh, ya, uh, D-Dante" he says. He looks frightened. "Who was your mom?" I ask more boldly now. "Ame... Amethy..." he shakes his head. "Amethyst" he says. I sit back. "Oh, uh, k thanks." I was starting to like him. But his dead mother was my enemy, so I suppose so is he. Better keep him here, now that I found out he's a threat.   I walk out of the dungeon, and a guard turns to me. "M'lady, how long are we keeping him?"  "Oh he's never leaving." I say evilly.  "Why not m'lady?" He asks. I jump on him and pin him down. Then I lean close to his ear and whisper "He's Amethysts son" he gasps. I jump off him and begin to fly away, but I hear Dante call "Wait!" I turn my head. "What?" I say. "Where is my mother? I wanna see my mother!" He shouts. I fly higher so everyone can hear, then call "Amethyst is dead."
