Chapter X - Magic Battle Royale

Dylan's POV

We arrived at the stadium which is full of students and staff. The whole school will be watching the final match. We are wearing our own uniform that what sent to us by my mom, Micah. It was in big sizes when it arrived but it magically fitted in our body after wearing it.

To be honest, I'm nervous. I really don't know what will happen. I am confident with my team but I have to be careful about exposing my true identity. I know myself and I won't be able to contain it if my friends will be in danger.

"Good Afternoon Everyone" The loud voice of my Professor echoed in the whole Stadium. "Welcome to this year's Final Magical Combat. Now, let us welcome the strongest remaining groups competing for this match. May I present to you The Royalty and the Dream Team!" The door in front of us opened and we started walking to the battle field. A booming cheer of the crowd blasted over the stadium. I looked around and I saw one familiar face sitting at the balcony of the stadium together with other Professors and staff. My father. He is here and will be watching us. He smiled at me and give me a small nod. I'm still feeling nervous but I am certainly feeling proud more than ever.

Brent's group is standing on the other side of the stadium.

"A few reminders for each team." My professor break the cheering of the crowd "The same rule will apply in this battle aside from one. "The magic from the stadium to protect you from life threatening attack has been removed. This means that you can be seriously damaged and may be in grave danger. If you kill one of your opponent, your team will be automatically disqualified." The professor explained.

"Now, to your positions!" He commanded. We lined up on our places preparing ourselves for any defensive or offensive attacks. And a loud bang of the cannon sounded which indicates that the battle starts now!

Immediately, their fairy flew midair opening her arms. "YURI!!!" I shouted and Yuri rushed in front of us Facing the other group. The fairy stopped and is now frozen like a manikin. Her eyes were all black. "What happened?" I asked curiously. "I trapped her into a trans" Yuri said. "she will remain immobilized until I release her or if my focus will be taken away. I can still help you to fight but if I got hurt or wounded, she will be free." Yuri explained and I smiled in relief. "Okay! Ali, make sure that you stay with Yuri to help him in any battle. Your main role is to heal everyone most especially Yuri. I will be helping you to heal if I can. For the rest of us, we need to face our own counterpart head on and try to completely immobilize them.

"Attack the Vampire!" The Vampire from Brent's group shouted figuring out that Yuri is the one who stopped their Fairy. They lunge towards us and we did the same thing. Yuri and Ali stayed in their position in defensive mode. Jean shifted into her wolf form and jumped towards Sean's wolf form. They collide in midair and both stumbled to the ground but quickly stood up and started attacking one other.

Their Neko turned into a three head Hydra. Max looked at me and I sent him a message to his mind to turn to whatever he wants and take my power. He nodded and turned into Huge Golem with 6 hands. First pair of hands are holding a big trunk of tree. Second pair is holding a bow and arrow. And the Last pair are holding some sort of stone shield. They started on attacking one another.

Their vampire went directly to Yuri and Ali. Ali tried to stop him by growing small vines from the group but he was too fast. The vampire hit her and she went flying landing on the ground. She tried to stand up but she was pinned down again. The vampire is holding her two hands on the ground and she is trying to break free. The vampire was about to bite her but she blew an air from her mouth and dust of pollens came out of her lips hitting the eyes of the vampire. The vampire released her hands and rubbed his eyes growling. Yuri kicked the vampire to his ribs that made him tumble and hit his back on the ground.
