Dylan's POV

I am now standing scared looking at my father who is staring back at me with no emotion. He doesn't know that I'm gay and I feel that he is so disappointed.

"High Council Maddox" Clint said bowing. "And who might you be young man?" my father asks with an authoritative tone. "My name is Clint Bennett sir. I am the son of Carlo Bennett, The Chieftain of Miriandane Sea." Clint said proudly. "Well, I think that's good enough." My father said examining Clint. Clint and I looked at each other trying to figure out what my father meant by that. "Can I borrow Dylan for a moment?" My father asks. "Of course, my Lord." Clint bowed again then looked at me smiling. "I'll see you later Dylan." I smiled back and blushed again. Then he walked away.

I turned back to my father trying to figure out what to say. "My son" He said firmly. "You are too young to have a boyfriend" He added. I bowed my head in embarrassment. "Besides, I want to meet my future son in law in a proper manner. Not in catching you eating each other's face. I looked at him and he smiling at me. "I am sorry to disappoint you father." I said sadly. "Disappoint? Why will I be disappointed? I am so proud of you!" with those words, my eyes began to produce a stream of tears. "First, congratulations for winning the battle. I know that you are suppressing your powers but you made it so flawless." He said proudly with excitement. "And second, you have a pretty good taste. A soon to be Chieftain of the sea. It won't be bad if he helps you in ruling the Sea Kingdom." He said teasing me. I am full of emotions right now and I am sobbing in to tears. I can't believe it that my father will accept my sexuality without any second thought. Lost of words, I rushed to my father's arms and give him a tight embrace burying my face to his chest. "Thank you, father." I said while crying. "Thank you for accepting me." I continue. He rubs my back and comforted me. "Of course, my son. Anything for you my boy" He let me cry for a little bit longer then he pulled away from the hug holding my shoulder.

"Now, I have a wonderful news for you." He said and the smile on his face is still there. "We will be spending the holidays together. You, Your mother and me." I smiled ear to ear. "Really?" I exclaimed. "Yes, my son. We will celebrate Christmas in your old house in the human world." He continued in explaining. "Since we can't be seen here in this world, at least not yet. We will be staying in the human world. We will meet you there after your last day of school." I nodded "I'm so excited father" I added with a sweet smile. "Okay now, fix yourself and go to your friends and celebrate. I'll see you soon" He hug me one more time then pushed me teasingly.

With that, I felt so relieved knowing that my father accepts me for who I am. Walking towards, people are still congratulating me and telling how the fight is so amazing. I thank them smiling.

I saw my team seating at the center table in the cafeteria eating and laughing. Jean noticed me and she stood up on top of the table. "May I present to you! Our leader! His Royal highness Dylan!" She said and the peopled gave me a loud applause. Blushing, I give them a sweet smile and give them a bow. I hope that they did not catch Jean using royal highness or we will be screwed.

I approached the table and sat beside max and I saw the wizard from Brent's team sitting beside Ali. I gave Ali a question look and she quickly get it. "Oh, this is Bush. Obviously, he is from Brent's team. But he apologized to me and won't stop bugging me. So, he is now my personal body guard as in exchange for burning my hair." She said sarcastically. Bush stood up and give me his hand and I immediately took it. "Nice to meet you Dylan and congratulations." He said wile shaking my hand. "Thanks." I shortly answered.

We are in the middle of our conversation talking about how we will spend our vacation. All of us are going back to our family for the holidays. We are now closer to each other than before. Ali and Zack, even Yuri are telling us about their family history. We also talked about what our plans will be after Graduation.
