"Okay you open yours first."
"No you go first, I insist!"
"As do I! Open your gift, Ellie!"
This has been going on for 15 minutes. During those 15 minutes, Grant and Eleanor sat cross legged on the ground, gifts in hand. Each of them insisting that the other open their gift first.
"How about we both open them at the same time?" Grant suggested, shrugging his shoulders
Eleanor nodded her head, "Good idea, on the count of three."
"One."
"Two."
"Three."
The two tore through the wrapping paper, each trying not to get a paper cut.
Eleanor gasped, "Grant!"
"I guess we're better friends then we thought." Grant held up his gift, "Thank you so much!"
Grant had gotten Eleanor a Polaroid camera with a note attached to it saying, 'for later adventures'. Eleanor had gotten Grant the same thing, only his gift didn't come with a note, just 200 more sheets of Polaroid paper.
"Wow, I guess we'll have to go on lots adventures together then?"
