"Roommate"
Contemporary duet
Song - "The Wolf Song" (listen above)
You look nothing like my father... Chloe sang in her head as she tossed Maddie aside herself. Maddie stood behind her for a moment, taking a blonde lock into her little fingers and sniffing it softly. The beautiful smell of lemon left her nose as Chloe leaped away without a moment of thought.
"Oh, I like that," Abby murmured. She unscrewed the water bottle's cap off to take a sip. It hurt the two girls seeing her drink as they surpressed their panting into tiny weezes.
Abby puts down the bottle and looks at Gia. "Very creepy."
Gia nodding, impressed by Maddie's improvising additions. She was in love with this role, and with Chloe. Neither partner was in love with the arduous choreography that burned their bodies, from the feet to the glutes. So many jumps and rolls, the music was untraditional and patterned oddly. The facials had to be subtle but intense.
Gia paused the music, and Abby calls them over calmly. Maddie focused on Abby completely but Chloe kept glaring at Maddie, mainly her hands. She spent the whole dance rehearsal trying to peak at them closely but the constant movement made it impossible.
"When the song reaches that final verse, 'you look exactly like my father', I want Chloe to grab Maddie's face and slowly looking into it - like she's getting Stockholm Syndrome. But then you hit her and she dies."
The cackling of Christi and Kelly could be heard from China. No one was sure what was so funny exactly, it's safe to assume it was from the middle of a conversation.
Melissa observed Maddie with both pride and flummox in her heart. Her daughter has always been great at playing characters but she was especially performing that day. Her eyes grew more and more colder with each blink, Chloe prayed it was all just acting.
"Single White Female," Christi said.
"Do you think Maddie's going to start wearing blonde wigs?" Joked Kelly, a joke Chloe misinterpreted and got chills.
Abby stopped the tape and stood tall, mouth close tightly. Instead of any shouting, there was an applause.
"Amazing job, gi-" she was cut off, her heart nearly exploded from shock as she endured an assault from the behind. Her raspy screamed did not stop Maddie from pulling her hair and jamming her fingers in her wide opened mouth. Like a rapid chimp, she terrorized Abby. Chloe covered her mouth to prepare herself for sobbing.
